So we learn more about Tim's past. This could definitely turn some things around, but I STILL think that Alex is the cause of this. But maybe he's not. Maybe Tim was the target of interest the whole time.
I can't help but feel bad for Tim. I mean, to be so close to unmasking one of the people/things that are stalking him and not being able to do it must have killed him.

And am I the only one who thinks Tim could've totally taken Hoodie when he was walking out the from door? I'm a little annoyed that he didn't go for it.

I think it would have been to risky of a move. With the way these people think while they have the mask on, Hoody could have been waiting for it the whole time with a trick up his sleeve.

It also served to remind me how grounded Tim is in reality, and how off-this-planet Jay is. I really wanted him, at the climax of that revelation by Tim, to do the HUMAN thing and put down the camera and give the guy a fucking hug.
None of this slash-fiction romance nonsense, just an honest hug for a friend. He clearly needs one.

In other news. So he mentioned meeting Brian. And him being his first real friend. I want this to back the Brianhoody theory so bad. But alas.

Also, in response to the "there were 2 of them and only 1 hoody" I highly doubt Jay would have been able to fight at all. But I did love his defending of Tim with the whole "Yeah, but you aren't pointing a gun at me right now". Maybe Jay doesn't find the masky thing to be all that strange anymore.

I was really hoping for that. Tim could have really used it right then, or at least some kind of assurance, but of course Jay doesn't have the social skills to deal with that. Seems like he's just getting worse over time.
Man, I have mixed feelings on this entry. On the one hand we get some fabulous acting, great suspense, and some genuine human emotion while at the same time getting a better look into Tim's past and current though process. That was awesome. It was also interesting that Tim brought up how he and Brian met. I still think Hoody is Brian, especially since he's been mentioned again, and if I'm right I'll just be heartbroken now that we know a bit more about Tim and Brian's friendship. =/
On the other hand... not much was really revealed that we didn't already know. It felt like a lot of buildup for nothing, and I'm a little disappointed in that. I know this season is the last and it's building up to something good, but I wish there would be a bit more plot-moving stuff distributed in-between. It feels like we've been watching the same video over and over again for the past while now.
And I'm just gonna say: I think Hoody knew they were there and planted that tape for them to find. For one thing they weren't exactly stealthy, and Jay tweeted that they would be there that day. Hoody seems to monitor the twitter account so I don't see any reason why he'd be surprised they were there.

I did wonder if it could be something happening off-camera as it sounds like it's accompanied by something being knocked over, but if it's accidental it's a bloody tight coincidence. Especially seeing as we've already established that people who've been previously affected by the Operator start affecting the electricals themselves in intense moments. And the noise could be practically anything; they're stomping around a burned-out husk of a building after all
