There was also a media-fire link via twitter to let us watch the file they watched... haven't had the chance to do so yet, but the others on UF say it's just a replay of the hidden videos.
This is quite a twist.

Broken link is broken.
EDIT: Took the link from the post you made and I got to the video, well I'd love to fucking watch it except for I'm not home and my friends computer seems to not like to play things with volume even when I maximize it. I will look at it when I get home.
*walks away with a sad face*
EDIT2: I'm home now, and I just watched it, all I can really say ZOMGWTFBBQ CANDLECOVE.

How about we stop trying to get them to watch the hidden footage? Because apparently, we suck at it.

Now THAT was good. It's nice that they're getting back on track! Now we just need some more Slender sightings, and they'll be back in my good graces!

Apparently watching forbidden videos puts them in a trance and spout nonsense. Well, I suppose getting them to watch the Hidden Videos won't work. Shame. That "conversation" during the CD interference might have some meaning behind it. Like some repressed memories? Watching the Hidden Tapes causes some form of call-back?
All I know is that I agree with Banished. This is a very interesting little twist.

I can't figure out what the hell that conversation they had with the static was.

I think it was about when they had that one guy (can't remember his name) dressed up as the Slender Man to fool their viewers at the beginning of the vlog series.
But apparently there was also mention of the doctor so I'm not really sure.

Oh Evan, you little spitfire. I think more than your spirit was violated, better check all your orifices for tentalove
Seriously though, from what I could make out from the conversation, it seemed like they were having repressed memories. Perhaps a childhood encounter with our dear Mr. thin?

That actually makes more sense then my idea. Since they did say they were just "playing pretend" and all.

Someone transcribed the convo in the Youtube comments:
For anyone having a hard time:
Evan: It's not like we did anything wrong
Evan: We were just playing a game
Vince: We used to do it all the time in the home doctor, I mean every weekend we played these games.
Steph: We just wanted to find the hidden treasure
EDIT: oh wait, there's more! (sorry if it's inaccurate, typing as I listen)
Jeff: I'm sorry you and ___ (Miss Maryann?) had to drive this far. We were trying to get back on our own. He got us there in an instant, I don't know why it took us so long to get home.
Evan: It's not like we unlocked the door, or broke the door or anything. He just...we didn't even use 'em.
Vince: We were just playing pretend. I don't know what happened.

I feel this supports the repressed memory theory. This really sounds like a very childlike conversation.

HAHAHA don't worry thats half of their fans reactions, let me explain this for you. If you go to there channel there a videos dubbed "hidden" with the titles . . ., - - -, . -, and . . . .. The EMH crew claimed they were unable to see these videos and thinking it would shed some light on their prediciment, a viewer sent the videos to them. The above video was the result.

I agree with this statement. I feel this sheds new light on it, though I don't know if I feel this should be a tally in the Parallel Universes or the Time Travel column.
BTW, I thought this scene coulda been handled so much better. This works really well in writing, but the execution was just that. It was really painful to watch, though at least Stephanie is a better actor then Jessica, so there is that.

I didn't find the acting that bad. A bit awkward, but not so bad as to totally remove me from the story.

This is moving to confirm a theory I've held about these extraneous clips for a while.
The idea that the footage is from various alternate universes. That HE is watching them so closely, it's shredding the barriers between the infinite number of time lines, and that every now and then, a video that shouldn't exist in this universe, shows up.
Makes sense that they can't see them. After all, the videos pertain to their own alternate selves. It's a phenomena distantly related to the idea that going back in time and meeting yourself would make you explode, or end the world or something.
This isn't HIS doing in a direct sense, simply a side affect of HIS influence on anything within our own world, since HE obviously looks at our universe from the Outside, almost certainly not even having a home universe HIMself, simply existing between worlds.

The way you use HE is.... nostalgic.. And also that makes sense, but what about the random footage of Alex from the supposed security cam thats not there. That was from this dimension, unless they mindfuck me again.

Well, there may have been other things that were different in the video taped universe which we didn't pick up on in the video. I still get your point though.
Does it make sense to say that HIS influence has been shredding not only the space between time lines, but also space itself? Hence the invisible video camera that was recording Alex.
Not sure I can really explain that one yet. Oh well, it wouldn't be fun if it was easy to figure out!

Just have to say, this sounds a lot like the Mining Town Four talking, not out EMH crew.
