PostSubject: Marble Hornets analogy   Marble Hornets analogy EmptySat Feb 16, 2013 1:37 am

So someone else wanted me to post their thoughts on Marble Hornets.

They're apparently too lazy to make an account and do it themselves.

Anyways here it is:

"I'm beginning to feel some sort of disappointment when I watch Marble Hornets. It's like I keep watching because I want answers, but every time I do, the entry leaves me with more questions and a bumload of static. Its' comparable to phonesex, where the other person hangs up right in the middle of their provocative description. In both cases, I'm left with more questions, and an awkward half-boner."

Enjoy.

That's a good one, but sometimes hanging up in the middle of dirty talk is a good thing when they've given you enough of go 'Damn!' and finish things up in quiet thought.

It's mostly about imagination and MH still delivers to me.

If your friend hates this, they should NEVER watch Caughtnotsleeping. Ever.

I see what you're trying to say here, but for me it's the exact opposite. I love being left with questions that I can predict the answers to, and come to you guys to share them with you. Isn't this what this forum is founded on? Isn't this what the Slender Man Mythos is founded on?

This thread doesn't work if your... umm... acquaintance isn't talking himself for his own opinion... I guess he's right in some way or another, but I think this is what the series is aiming for!

If he has that kind of reaction to him, then it means they succeeded in that. But they could answer more questions in one entry rather than making up another 20 more questions and no clues for them whatsoever...

That's MH for ya'! Very Happy

I get the feeling you don't believe that I am quoting someone else.

Well I am. He's a fellow Fear Mythos member. Goes by the username The Apostate.

I personally do not watch Marble Hornets or at least have not watched since I finished watching the first two seasons DVD which I bought on the recommendation of the user known as DJay32. The DVD was okay but in general I dislike Vlogs as I find them in general rather boring.

I get the feeling you didn't read what I said. What I said was that the thread doesn't work if you speak for him. It should have been him the one to talk and not ask someone else to do this... And I said "acquaintance" because you said he wasn't your friend either. Whatever, doesn't matter anymore... Wink Wink

Oh no I didn't disagree. Yes this thread doesn't work. But he kept badgering me till I posted it.

And you do have to admit the way you wrote acquaintance did seem doubtful.
