Hello. What if..

Hey guys, what if slender-man wasn't evil? What if he existed to take people to another dimension were they can be happy and escape from a horrible fate?
I think that's has already been created as a little mythos though, so...

Also, what if proxys weren't bad either?

Well, I wouldn't really say that Slender Man is evil per se, I always though of Slendy as more territorial then anything.
I mean, murderous? Yes!
Evil? I don't think so.

I do not think he is Evil I just know he needs victims to keep his power like the old greek gods needed people to pray to them or they would die.

Exactly, He needs to get his power some way, just the way he does it is horrible.

I think that maybe he enjoys torturing people. Sure, it could give him power like you guys said, but he could also do it just for the fun of it.

I think asking whether Slendy is evil or not may be an empty question as he may not be sentient at all. I see him more as a force of nature or some kind of anomaly that acts without a will or a motive.

I've always had the headcanon that human flesh is his water. Without it he'll die. To sum it up? I think he murders humans and eats their bodies.

But how would he eat them? He doesn't have a mouth, unless he used something else, which, I don't know what it would be.

Maybe he needs like he said as water and food he need Human souls.. And how he gets them well maybe like a Dementor from "Harry Potter" he sucks them out by looking at them up very close.. that maybe why all the slenderman series get headaches when they get an close encounter

 Well, I also have the headcanon that he chooses when his mouth shows. It's filled with razor sharp teeth for munching bones.

I see Slenderman more like a predator then a evil villain,the forests are his trap and it just so happens that we are his prey.

I would view Slenderman as evil in accordance to the original mythos that Victor Surge created. House fires, taking children, stealing organs, that all sounds deliberate in regards to what Slendy could take. These days, in accordance to vlogs I'm not so sure. He just seems too mysterious and his motives are largely unknown, so he seems less evil to me. I've begun to think of him as an entity that just watches and has interesting defense mechanisms or possibly even someone trying to help (things have gotten so jumbled that it's a bit hard to tell what his motives are and why).
