I don't think it's an addendum or sub-spin-off-whatever. It has a completely different feel, as if they hired a new director. Although it's incredibly hard to make a decision 4 broadcasts in. 

My only other question is why they needed a dolly for those tiny, lightweight-looking boxes. Come on, Noah.

Didn't the guys say the MH characters wouldn't be in 44 or was that just a lie?

So I had seen the updates through the Marblehornets website which led up to the Clear Lakes youtube series, and just hadn't commented on it yet here. Sorry about that. I'm liking that they're keeping the torch going but in a different way, I just wish we could stop feeling so much like outsiders looking in. Like, it feels twinpeaksesque/nighvalean, which is good, it's unsettling, that's clearly what they wanted, and they do it well. I'm glad to see Tim back in the series, whether it's Tim as Tim or whoever else it could be - though honestly I'm hoping it's Tim as Tim, because why cast him as a different smoking person if the actor no longer smokes? So there's this whole surveillance thing? Maybe it's wherever Tim relocated to? Maybe it's Alex's doing? (Is he still alive? the website seems to subscribe to that theory). It feels good to be back.
