Rule Clarification

While I agree with many of the rules on the SlenderNation forum, there is one that I respectfully disagree with and would like to propose a suggestion to change it.
This is that rule:

• Arguing with a Staff member regarding forum decisions.

Now, I do not believe that the intention upon writing this rule was to keep people from voicing their opinions about the boards and changes made to it. I doubt that was it's intention due to the fact that we have a sub-board entirely dedicated to quite the opposite (this one I'm posting in, if you couldn't figure it out). Unfortunately, the way this sentence is phrased gives the impression that we are not allowed to voice opposition to any change made. We either like it, or are banned, as that rule is listed under "other ban-able offenses."

I do believe, however, that the spirit of that rule was more along the lines of not disrespecting other members, in this case, the staff. As long as you proceed with mutual respect, there is no problem.

However, due to the fact that there is potential misunderstanding due to the slight ambiguous nature of the rule, I'd like to ask for clarification. Does this actually mean we are not allowed to disagree with the staff? Or does this mean we can do so if done with respect? And does this apply to all decisions (forum mechanics changes, locked thread, staff changes, idea implementation, idea removal, bans, warnings, etc.) or only certain ones?

If it is as I believe, then I would like to suggest a simple rewrite of it for clarity.

Y'know, I'd agree that this is a bit ambiguously worded. Now, I will respect staff decisions, as they do have the final say. However, I do think we should be able to voice opinions if we feel that the wrong decision was made, as long as we do it maturely and are fully willing to accept the final decision, no matter whether we like it or not.

I think the key word is arguing. Like, you can say that you don't agree with a decision, but don't pick a fight with the mod about it.

this, there's a difference between a discussion, or even a debate, and arguing...at least...to me

You as users have the right and responsibility to come to the staff if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about anything on the forum. I want everyone to know that we are here for you. We keep this forum safe, fun, and clean (inb4 sex joke *cough*LIFE*cough*). Now, if and when a user or users decide to be disrespectful in their arguing, that's when we are obligated to take action to resolve such negativity. If you have a problem with something we say or do, then come to us as human beings, not all pent up and angry. Also, while I'm on the topic, one more thing. Do not be afraid to come to me or any of my staff members if you have a problem or suggestion. That's what the forum feedback section is for. I'm not some power hungry, evil demon that will destroy any sign of dissent or change at the drop of a hat.....that's Popo. ANYWAYS, the same goes for my staff. We are not some sort of high end club for thew kool kidz. We are here to make this forum fun for you.

I do believe I've covered most of what I wanted to say, so I'll sum it up for a TL;DR moment:

I urge you, as users, to speak up to either me or my staff if you have an idea for the forum. Any aspect. Don't be afraid, we're not going to bite....*looks at Zander*.....we won't bite you out of hate.

And I agree with the others, it's fine to disagree with a mod and voice your concerns, but they do have the final say.

Okay, yeah. That's pretty much what I thought, just wanted to make sure though. You can lock this thread whenever. If people are done discussion Zander-bites, lock it. If not, lock it anyways; no one wants to think about Zander biting anything.

Back on Topic, Doc pretty much said what was needed to be said, but... Do you all think it some aspects of the rules should be clarified more?
