Either way, *shivers*. This season is so full of shittin' brix I am astounded.
To bring something useful to the topic, I still don't think the Operator Symbol "summons" him. If you are going to play the card of "summoning" then you have to live with the idea that the Operator can be used as a tool. That he can be directed or given direction to help, hurt or harm. That he isn't a chaotic force but something that fits into a larger hierarchy. I for one, am far from submitting to the idea that the Operator has rules or regulations--that he could be in Germany eating children and because some twat in Georgia decided that he wanted to do some doodling, that the Operator has to drop what he is doing and appear before some mere mortal to do his bidding. That just doesn't sit well in my stomach. At all.
... although, to play devil's advocate, it would explain the mental and physical deterioration of Alex. To try and control something that powerful would surely come at a great cost to one's health. Coughing up hamburger can't be a sign of anything good. Slendy: *With mouth full of German kiddies* PHOR PHUCKS SHAKESH GUYSH.

| Wasn't quite as good to me as Entry #43, however it does elaborate and raise more questions. Wouldn't be surprising if alex is leading Jay into some kind of trap. | |

| I could see that happening. This one had to be the most challenging riddle yet in the list of riddles created by the Marble Hornets series. It kind of shows that , as you said, he could be leading Jay into a trap. Seems as if either Alex gave IN to Slender Man, or, is under his control. - MockingJay wrote:

I'm such a wuss.
My thoughts throughout the video:
- Spoiler:
It's not like we want to see your blood, Alex. Mysterious symbol thar, Alex. Holy shit, slow down. Too many. Operator. Pretty much the first time he's mentioned. Alex must be tired after writing all that shiz. Umm, shadow? Slenderman in a few flash frames. Standing there watching Alex. Seems more... terrible than usual. Where's Alex?
More importantly, how did he survive 43? Silly, he used noclip.

Dude, Slenderman has broken into their house like eighty times now - if he WANTED to kill them, he would've done it by now. I don't think he wants to kill them - I think he wants them to kill eachother.

| Wut...? Rythmear didn't even come close to talking about attacking Slender Man.
As for that theory, I can see Alex being insane enough to kill Jay. In Entry #38 Alex sounded like he had gone of the deepend with that story.

| I love Rythmear's theory. I totally agree with it.
I mean, how else would Jay just happen across all of this footage? Slendy is setting this whole situation up. And if Jay finds enough footage showing how terrible Alex is, or how much he must have "turned," wouldn't we want Jay to fight back? To defend himself?
If corruption is the goal, getting 30,000+ random strangers consenting to murder seems like one of the widest-reaching options.
Already, many fans were happy or felt that Alex was justified in assaulting Timasky. Isn't that already pretty fucked up?

| Wow. Firstly, I approve the everlong hell out of this entry. For me, this one entry makes the past 20ish entries of exposition and build up worth it. Why?? Dat style, man. Not to mention we're starting to move forward with the plot more quickly now.
And now for something completely different: I know this seems out of the blue, but to me, this entry pretty much cements the idea that Tim is not on the same side as the Operator. This entry all but screamed that Alex is, at the very least, being mindfucked by the Operator in some way. Most likely, Alex is a pawn. Back in entry 35, Tim very pointledly attacked Alex with a knife, ignoring Jay completely. Why would he have done that if he and Alex are on the same team?? I suppose it could have been to implant a sense of false security in Jay about Alex, or that somehow Tim was out of the loop about or jealous of Alex in some way, but I just don't think it's that intricate.
I would have put that in the minor theories thread, but I believe someone's already done the ''Tim isn't on the Operator's side'' theory there, and I didn't want to be redundant. And this is relevant here, methinks =P
Oh and to the people who have been saying that the entries and the Operator have become predictable: what were you expecting?? We've been watching MH for 44 entries now; of course there are going to be patterns. I'm not saying you're wrong for being disappointed in it, but anything that goes on this long is going to have some repetition. The reason it was so thrilling and unexpected in the begining is because, well, it was the begining. It was new. *shrug*
God, I'm long winded. I'll shut up now. x_x

I think Slender Man Doesn't want them to kill eachother, but use them to go towards a goal HE has.

| Personally, I believe that Slenderman is trying to drive them insane BEFORE he kills them. Also does this remind anyone of Entry #19? Maybe TiMasky has some form of occult power and is influencing Jay while Slendy is influencing Alex. | |

"Go ahead. BE AFRAID. You all taste so much BETTER when you're afraid!"
Maybe Slendy likes them better when they're crazy? XD

| Either that or Alex is so moody because Slenderman keeps staying at his place and not paying rent... | |

Slendy's not forking over all those hard earned 20$'s. (*badum pish*) He needs them to finish his papermache face-transplant.

| Slendy earns these $20's by randomly kidnapping people and renting their house out. Before Alex, he did it to Brian... and rented his house out to TiMasky XD | |
