| I can tell you this: Definitely not Tumblr.
It's just a pain in the ass in so many ways. Especially the archive which is like a labyrinth and makes no sense at all.

| Definitely tumblr, it's a joy in my ass in so many ways.
And also really the only site that isn't devastated by parental blocks, which is funny because it's really only rivaled on the risque by an actual porn site.

| I've never used blogger, but I have used tumblr and wordpress. I like wordpress quite a bit, but I think that tumblr is a little easier to get "found" on if you're writing a slender blog and use the right tags. Tumblr also has a very easier follower system and is very easy to update and incorporate media.
HOWEVER, I'd have to agree that tumblr is also a huge, huge pain sometimes. I spent all of yesterday and today updating the layout for my own slender series as well as going through posts to draw up information for the wiki, and tumblr had a massive server crash that made everything take twice as long. Bebop, like you said, the archive sucks. It's impossible for anyone to use the archive to go back and read previous posts in any discernible order.
Love hate relationship. Just go in knowing what to expect.

| I'm kind of like Osiris on this. I'm using both a Blogger and a Tumblr, with a connection between the two. Tumblr gets a lot more viewership, because it's easier to socialize with others there and therefore easier to draw people in. Blogger has a more logical archive system, from what I've heard, but it's harder to find anyone. | |

| Tumblr is my favorite site for just goofing off and looking at pictures and shit. Not reading slenderblogs. Personally, if I ever find a slenderblog executed through Tumblr, I ignore it and move on. They're usually very poorly thought out. But my persoanal blog is fucking awesome you shoud totes folwo me,, www.quofomo.tumblr.com !!!!!!!!!@! | |

Tumblr Slenderblogs can be done right. Canyouseethewords is proof of that. I've not seen enough to know for certain, but I've not really noticed a meaningful difference in quality between Tumblr vs. Blogger entries thus far. Some are good and some are not so good on both sites.

| I feel like people have come to associate Blogger with slenderblogs. But I agree with quofomo, a lot of slenderblogs on Tumblr aren't really... well, just look through the "Slenderman" tag and you'll see what I mean. Nobody looks for a good slenderblog on Tumblr. It's also not as convenient, in terms of layouts and timestamps and such. I learned that the hard way, and should I post another blog, it most certainly won't be on Tumblr.
I also don't really consider canyouseethewords to be its own slenderblog, but rather supplemental material to EMH. Especially since now HABIT is the focus rather than Slenderman.

It's just to say that Tumblr can work for a Slenderblog, even if canyouseethewords is supplemental to EMH. I feel like the quality of a blog on Tumblr or Blogspot depends on how well the author knows how to work with what they have, and ultimately on what they want to do with what they have. On top of that, you have to remember that half of all Slenderblogs are going to be below average in quality, and that the average is still going to be well below EMH, MarbleHornets, etc. Also, #slenderman unfortunately doesn't turn up a lot of actual Slenderblogs on Tumblr. Most of it's just OOG meme stuff. It's harder than you would think to work that hashtag into a blog without it breaking willing suspension of disbelief.

| Oops, I forgot to mention the main reason I hate Slenderblogs on tumblr. What I meant by "poorly executed" was that a lot of them look like this: Even if the writing on the blog were to be phenomenal, (which it never is,) the tags ruin the immersion in an attempt to go viral. And I've seen longer lists of tags on Slenderblogs before, trust me. The ones that I put on that ^ example post are just the tip of a huge, huge iceberg. | |
