| To quote Gary Oldman in Leon the Professional, " I like these calm little moments before the storm. It reminds me of Beethoven. Can you hear it? It's like when you put your head to the grass and you can hear the growin' and you can hear the insects" | |

basically my reaction. Basically everyone's reaction. No doubt it's a "lampshade hanging" moment. Jay still has some intelligence problems I see...hanging around outside a mental clinic every day. Yeah that's gonna look sane to the people who work there. Interesting starting point though, I have the feeling that these behind the scenes tapes are gonna have some of the really big slender issues that went down during the filming.

| Wait, so now Jay is stalking Tim? oh, the irony.
In any case, I wonder what's going on here. Tim/Masky "saved" Jay and Jessica in entry 52, but doesn't seem to have any memory of that happening, or care. And if he really was trying to save Jay and Jessica, then he isn't a slenderproxy, so then what?

| And just like that, Season Three of Marble Hornets has begun. - Spoiler:
Perhaps we will see why Tim got so fucked up, or learn more about the masky business, or just get additional freak out tapes, who knows. In anyway, I feel having read the tweets put me ahead of the game when this came out, however infuriating the process itself may have been. The video surrounding the antique shop is kind of lacking, he didn't reference that painting he was so obsessed about in the tweets at all, and the woman who worked there was kind of... meh. The meeting scenes between Jay and Tim was really awkward, and at first I didn't like them, but they seemed to work after I re-watched. I do think that he would have put more thought into what he would be saying granted that it had been so long and that he had so much time to think about it. That call at the end, the slight amounts of distortion, the coughs, I'm so ready for this season. It wasn't an amazing comeback, but it sure has gotten me excited for what's to come. Like ryantherebel said, the calm before the storm. What a storm this shall be.

Seeing as Tim smokes, the coughing thing doesn't seem to hold a lot of ground in regards to Slenderman, but as he exhibited a more slender-sickness stye coughing in one of the earlier entries (can't remember which one, sorry), it can't be completely ruled out. here it's a more guttural cough, while in other entries it was the light, repetitive cough of a person in close proximity to Slendy, so is it just a mindscrew, or what?

| Personal theory going on here: - Spoiler:
Maybe Tim is going to the mental health clinic to try and rid himself of Masky? Perhaps Slendy's left him alone long enough that he's recognizing some of the signs of a personality disorder and he's doing the smart thing and seeking help? In any case, I think its safe to say that Masky is going to be playing a more active role than just showing up twice and scaring someone shitless or showing up to help Alex shoot himself. And who knows, we might see more of Sinclair (Gas Masky) while we're at it.

| Perhaps Tim has some sort of Multiple Personality Disorder. I feel like that's a kind of blunt and obvious theory though, so I'll just shut up. | |

Couldn't this just be a case of effect/cause cause/effect, where he smokes because maybe he lost his memory like Jay, and coughs like a smoker? The mindset of Because I cough, I must smoke, so I smoke more, therefore my coughing is normal. Plus there's distortion here and there in the video.

| Blue Eyes is right. Tim seems to have a counterpart to him, and he's probably going to the doctor's because he's noticing some of the effects. Refer back to Entry 51. You see Tim crying on the floor in that one. That must be the start of his Masky Counterpart. | |

I don't know about that; Tim was smoking back in Entry #9, which was during the original filming and so presumably before he lost his memory. Personally, I kind of figured the coughing was meant to be Slendersickness. Overall, I must say that I quite enjoyed this entry. Nothing big yet, but a decent enough thing to start off the season with. A couple new questions, and some hints of what's to come. And if nothing else, Jay did learn to pick one story and stick with it.

| I like Life's idea, but everyone has really good points, even Blue Eyes (no, it's not a stupid idea-don't be so hard on yourself ((and, on a totally unrelated note-knife-wielding Furby-I cannot sleep now))). But I didn't really notice any distortion. anyone mind pointing out where it is? | |

There's a little bit of distortion (Shearing, maybe? if that's the right term?) near the end, right before it goes back to a black screen with text. It was very slight, and might not be anything relevant to anything. Also, mfw I heard Tim had tapes...

| I like Life's theory on this one. Here's my own: - Spoiler:
The most recent time that we saw Kneecap (my nickname for masky) Was in the hotel room, when Jay clocked him in the head with a maglight. Perhaps the sudden blunt force trauma to the head did something to him. Of course there were still ToTheArk responses, but I'm still a firm believer that they are different entities. In this entry, Tim really did not seem to remember Jay or anything, so he either is very good at hiding it, or he really doesn't remember.
Now, say he did remember everything. Jay knows that Tim is Kneecap, and Tim should know that Jay knows, because of Entry 35. I feel that if he really did remember, it would have happened more like this:
Jay would be waiting outside the clinic when Tim shows up. Jay would have called out to him like he did. Now there are different possibilities, I'll go over two of them. First possibility would be that Tim would tackle Jay and leave him for dead there. More likely though, Tim probably would have just ran off, and Jay would have tried to chase him down. After losing him, Jay would go back to the clinic, and try the sitting game for another week or so, and give up when Tim never comes back.
I really doubt they would have both played stupid if they both knew what was up, so I sincerely believe that Tim does not remember shit.

| (Yep, fear the furby. "YOU SAID WE"D BE FRIENDS FOREVER")
Anyhow, speaking of ToTheArk, maybe Jay's also got some multiple personalities, or Alex, and one of them is ToTheArk. I dunno, I'm just throwing shit around that sounds sort of normal.
I think Tim doesn't remember anything, or perhaps it's been Masky taking over for so long that Tim has just now fought to hit the surface. So he got scared and sought help from the mental clinic.
Or perhaps Tim does remember, and he wants to play it off like he doesn't to learn more about Jay and what he's up to.
Oh so many paranoid theories.

| Oh, Jay. You need to be culled or else you'll just pee in the gene pool. - Spoiler:
Jay thinks it's a pretty big coincidence that Alex and Tim would both be there? He KNOWS that Tim is Masky and KNOWS that Masky was there. I'm going to sit outside the mental health clinic every day with my camera: That's a great way to get arrested there, Jay. This man has shown signs of psychosis and multiple personality disorder and has been stalking me, me in particular. Better give him my phone number. It's been nearly a year since I told this guy I was going to restart a film project, after over eight months with no mention of it at all I better stick to that same story. Ooooh! Look, an abadoned building site in a town I don't know in area of the state where messed up stuff has been happening to me, usually when I wander off on into potentially dangerous places. BETTER WANDER AROUND IT ON MY OWN! GOT NOTHIN' BETTER TO DO!"
I hate Jay. I hate Jay so much.
