Entry 32 Discussion

Time to discuss guys. They're leaving tonight and the distortion obviously points to Slendy being around.

Hot damn, that was some pretty awesome acting. AND WE'RE FINALLY LEAVING THE HOTEL. This is bitchin'

I still don't trust Jessica completely, but then again I don't trust Jay either, so whatever. I'm glad they're joining forces, I just hope they don't try to shoehorn in some cheesy romantic bullshit.

I am officially creeped out. So far I've found the amount of hotel and Jessica content to be downright irritating, but this video was the 9 red squares of save point in my book.

Jessicas acting improved by a mile. The distortion was creepy as fuck, and felt more like Tribe Twelve than MH in the best possible way, and the dramatic buildup is absolutely palpable.

So far I have been hoping for brix shitting and slendy in each next video. I virtually guarantee these things in entry #33. You can tell.

Wow, did you see the circles under her eyes? She's messed up.

Maybe they joined up during the last seven months and forgot about it.

Maybe we'll get another update later tonight with a Slendy attack? *crosses fingers*

One other note, the throwback to the original mythos filled me with joy. Marble Hornets has given us much cause to wonder if they will be taking the mythos in alternative directions, what with Masky, TTA and the lack of Slendy in the new season, maybe this is all going to turn into the Matrix and we're going on an ark hunt.

Except Jessica said "childhood" and "being watched". That right there is reassurance. And epic.

Huh, I wonder if we had solved the safe code the series would have gone a different route...

But anyways, epic entry. Can't wait to see if Slendy chases them while they're on the move.

Something tells me no. Mostly because A) the right code was probably thrown out there since Unforum went down the list of logical possibilities and B) Mh has always been pretty damn linear.

Damn good question. I'm inclined to expect the latter. The safe will eventually be important, just not right now.

That was creepy as hell.

It doesn't help that I just finished dragging up some unpleasant ghostly experiences in my past just before watching this.

Jessica's acting is fantastic. She's really gotten better. With all that distortion I half expected HIM to pop up over Jessica's right shoulder, in the dim lighting of her room and for both of them to have to make a run for it.

HE's close to them. I can almost feel HIS influence and presence building up as that video goes on. I agree with Satyr. We're gonna see HIM in the next episode, in a BIG way. I have that feeling.

The rabbits are off running. HE's going to close with them, watch them squirm and squeal before ending something. I don't know what. It just feels like it's time, from HIS perspective.

Only real qualms I had with this was, "WHY GIVE UP ON THE SAFE?!" But that's because my curiosity is killing me.

But DAMN Jessica has gotten better with her acting. I approve.

I also second Void's comment about expecting Slendy to pop up in the background... I was looking and looking. D:

Haven't watched it with sound yet, so idk if it's mentioned.

I've always liked Jessica, but I do agree that her acting has improved, and her character gets more interesting with each new entry.

I too have been keeping my eyes peeled for Slendy - the long hallway of the hotel has always seemed like it was primed for a Slendy shot - though I will say that a long hallway shot is somewhat predictable and cliché. But now that they're leaving the hotel, Slendy will likely pop up elsewhere, which fits better with MH's unpredictability and lack of clichés.

Is it just me, or did I see someone juuuuuuust peeking from behind a corner in Jessica's room in 31 and 32?

I definitely saw it in 31, but I didn't see anything like that in 32.

Huh. That might've just been me, then, in 32, but I know for a fact I saw something in 31 and was like "aw snap, Jay's staying next to Slendy's main squeeze."

Where in 32 did you see Slendy/something in Jess's room?

Where did you see anything in Entry 31?! I saw nothing at all. ._.

When Jess opens the door and Jay moves a little to the right, you can see a possible person in the background. But I couldn't really tell, and the lack of distortion hints that Slendy probably isn't there.

I don't see it. I see a little black, but it looks like a coat hanged or something. No distortion to verify if it's Slendy though.

It's a vending machine. Just sayin.
