what is meta gaming?: Using of out-of-character information in-character to use it to your advantage. Such as if I knew someone planned to kill me, I would antagonize that character or try to kill them first, even though the character shouldn't know that their life is in danger.

What is power gaming?: Power-gaming is the act of attempting an action in a role-playing game without acknowledging any attempt or give anyone a fair chance to intervene before the action follows through.

Would you use ether of these during the event?: No. I would play as fairly as I could.

What is role-play: Role-playing is where people take on the roles of fictional characters in an attempt to tell a story they want to enact or make for fun.

Occupation ( if you have one ): Knight

Appearance: Fairly tall, around 6'3", with brown hair and green eyes. Light skin tone. Wears steel armor with a blue cowl, with a green shirt and shorts under the armor.

Bio ( 1-2 paragraphs ): Etrius was raised as the son of a Knight, and trained in the ways of Knighthood and Chivalry. He is strong-willed, and a bit on the arrogant side as he has faith in his skills. Etrius is also kind and honors the code of chivalry, and values his position as a protector of the people. As of late, he's been rather discouraged for his feats are few, and far in between. Thus, he has been travelling around to find ways to earn glory and have his name widespread.

You see a girl playing in the forest with her doll's. She's enjoying herself.. you can tell no on else is around .. What do you do?: See how she's doing, and ask her where her parents are. Escort her to them if necessary.

You hear screaming coming from the blacksmith it grows louder and louder .. your ears begin to ring loudly .. what do you do?: Investigate the disturbance immediately and try to help as best to my ability.

A friend of yours runs up to you yelling and screaming loudly ... he/she says he/she saw a tall faceless man in the forest .. he/she is yelling so loud a crowd begins form.. what do you do?: Calmly tell the young lady that I will investigate what she saw, as I have a sworn duty to protect the innocent. I would also try to calm down the crowd and reassure them that I as a knight would take care of it.

On another note, I have the same question as Dr. Lang. Are we doing the emote thing such as *Person A tries to stab Person B*, or something like that for general interaction and/or combat? Cause honestly, I think combat would be better to deal out as a "fight for your life" thing with how Minecraft is. Not to fight like a written role-play in a game such as this.

What is power gaming?: Power-gaming is when you over power your character with ability's they don't have. All characters have limits.

Would you use ether of these during the event?: No. I have seen some of these in action and since i have been role-playing (2 years now) I have never and will never do those. In my idea it makes horrible role-play.

What is role-play: Role-play is when you take and be another person in a different time area or so forth. There is a story line to follow and you try to make a story for your character.

Role-play name: "Doctor" Debra Langington

Role-play age: 25

Occupation ( if you have one ): Doctor: Medical

Appearance: She has blue hair and a flower from her family put in there. Her Caucasian skin is pale for the most part. She wears a dress for most of the time, due to how it can get treating patents. A dress for her is the best cover she can get while being ready for anything on times notice. Another procedural she takes is wearing gloves or mittens on her hands for safety.

Bio ( 1-2 paragraphs ): Dr. Debra Langington was a different little girl of sorts. She was always outside looking at nature and animals. Trying to immense herself in it. Her family always thought she was cute spinning around in the meadows. She lived a quiet and peaceful life style until she was fourteen. A sickness over-swept the house and no where near any towns her father died in a matter of four days.
Heart broken she barely worked for the rest of the year. Her outside dwellings became more quiet. Only the birds would try and sing to her. As it happened again, her study of nature and herbs she was able to help her mother from death and starvation. Debra noticed the power she had, to try and help people. At-least see whats wrong with them. Herbs don't cure everything. She studied at schools and clinics trying to see what she could do to improve. Sadly all she got to learn was stitches, bandages, and just how to treat a cold or a fever. But at these days it was a lot learned. Even though it could do so little Debra has at-least started. But shes barely ready for what this thing can do.

Zander from previous rp i know we just fought it out like normal. I think in this case rp fights are better as take turns and we always used emotes for interaction. What do you guys think? In my opinion emotes should be used for both. It makes better rp and makes thing more fun!

Bio ( 1-2 paragraphs ):Fye was the best blacksmith from where he was from, Famous for his works. He made everything from rings to axes or swords, but one day, He stopped. No one knew why, but if one were to investigate the matter they might discover his grandfather died on the same day. He just disappeared, people say they hear rumors of him still forging. Rumors of course. he left long ago. Fye has just recently traveled to little brook, he hopes to make a nice living here. But he has no idea what hes up against.

what is meta gaming?: Any unnecessary OOC info. Like to say if I was giving my opinion on the subject of how the antagonist or protagonist is acting or reacting to something. The way of the game must be followed by the rules set-up by the mod and your opinion on the subject doesn't help. (I think Dx)

What is power gaming?: Basically from experiencing it, over-powering or cheating in a way and not giving other players a fair chance, such as: Taking all the food, modding, etc.

Would you use ether of these during the event?: Absolutely NOT! It would not be fair to other players and ruin part of the game play.

What is role-play: Role-play in my terms is, taken on the form of another character fictionally. He/She is your persona of your imagination and you act and react to situations like they would instead of acting as you normally would, normally pertains to a story set up by you or others.

With his children on his mind, he has made the decision to find them in the only logical place he thinks possible, the dark woods. . .

Well I was thinking that if people wanted to fight, both people would have to accept the fight? So that way no one would come up and smack someone over the head with a sword or something like that.

I mean.. I guess if both parties agree... But
minecraft is not the most stable game and for things to be fair I think
emoting would be best as lag and crashes are common during battle..

What is Meta-Gaming: Meta Gaming is a term used to describe a type of gaming where someone takes advantage of elements not used in the RP. It can also be used as a term when someone is modding. Essentially it is acting and using things not belonging in this RP.

What is Power Gaming: Power Gaming is when you do something to make your character unrealalistic or over powerful. Such as my character cant pick up a sword and stab and kill slendy. I can't be invincable or over-powered.

Would I use either of these during the event: Never. I am a huge fan of role playing. Such as D&D or such. I tend to get very pissed when someone does one of the above.

What is Role-Play: Role Play is playing a game while pretending to be and acting as a charater you are not.

Appearance: wears a sooty and flour covered apron from tending the oven and baking the bread. Is forced to keep his black hair and beard short after too many complaints from his customers about hair ending up in his products...otherwise has a rather simple wardrobe.

Bio ( 1-2 paragraphs ): to most people, Edger's life would be considered exciting, to other more well traveled people though, it would be considered quite boring. Born from a Spanish prostitute and French sailor, he was raised solely by his mother in an environment that wasn't very child friendly. he didn't go to school, he often got in fights and stole from the market more often then he would have liked. at 10 he decided that he had had enough and left Spain for better prospects. for years he traveled from place to place doing odd jobs to get by. at age 20 he arrived in the village and became 'involved' with one of the local ladies. she became pregnant and her father, the town baker, wasn't too happy. Seeing a chance to settle down, a prospect that he had thought of little before this, Edger decided to do the responsible thing and stay in the village and give his child a father that he himself never had. Edger convinced the baker to let him marry his daughter and let him take on an apprenticeship with the bakery.
For a time, Edger was content, even happy. when his son was born he instantly fell in love with him, promising himself that he would do anything to give him the best life possible. unfortunately, that life would be far shorter then Edger would like, rumors began to spread about strange noises coming from the woods, people began complaining about strange nightmares. finally one day, Edger's son went missing...

Your on EST time....crap, does that mean I have to play in the middle of the night? I'm on PST (Pacific). Right now its ten-thirty where I am.

I was wrong about my last post. God, I'm stupid. EST time is only three hours ahead of me. So anytime Friday-Sunday sounds good. Friday would work especially well though.

I'm currently in GMT time, so there is about a 7 hour difference I think, but right now I don't have a very fixed schedule, so whatever time you guys decide I'll try my best to get on.

But it would be stretching it staying up much past 3am. so I could possibly play for a few hours if you guys started around 3 or 4 pm

Im open ALL DAY considering im off from work and things. so i can join anytime whatever. Im also in EST :3
