| I think they are like an octopus' tentacles except without the suction cups. Kind of slimy and smooth.. | |

| I've always pictured them to be long, thin, smooth, and boneless. Most of the time, they don't even really exist; but when he uses them, they just kind of grow out of his back and do whatever. | |

| I always think they are strong, cold, and flexible. The texture maybe a little bit soft. I think Slendy shows them only when things get serious or he gets angry. Also, those tentacles might cause some effects on the victims somehow... | |

So are puncture wounds.

| I think there kinda like the hands from "Elfen lied", but visible. The texture must be soft and...well, mushy. I doubt anyone has ever really touched them, though. If they have, I haven't seen it. They are most likely strong and can probably can rip the victim apart. | |

| I always thought the tentacles wouldnt have feeling. They would just move straight through me, causing limbs to move themselves. Also I would just like to say for the record, in before some says they've seen enough hentai to know where this is going. Or maybe they just feel like cold air and don't affect you. Maybe its just to scare you into not thinking straight, so that good old tall and slender has the upper hand. | |

| I've always wanted to see a scene where he uses the tentacles to hurt someone. I've always imagined him strangling someone and picking them up then teleporting them to finish off the job by removing organs, impaling on tress or other things, depending on what he's feeling up for. | |

StanFrerickBTS has some scenes with tentacles actually choking people, but I have yet to see organ removal on camera (except maybe that one time in Dark Harvest) and I would love to see some branch impalement too.

| I think they're solid, and that the texture is not unlike wet bark. You know how after it rains, the bark on trees gets kind of slick, especially if it's mossy? Like that. They'd be able to flex quite a bit, like woody vines, and would probably hurt a lot if you got stabbed with them, hit with them, etc.
I'd imagine they'd probably be quite strong, since as someone else pointed out, tentacles are all muscle anyway. The skin would probably be very tough as well, and difficult to break. They would probably easily be able to tear you in half and pick you up without much trouble. They are probably extremely sensitive to touch and vibration, much like a cat's whiskers, and Slendy could use them to sense changes in environment, detect movement of prey, and otherwise sense the world around him. They may be used to give him extra stability in windy conditions or be used to move. They may also help him identify items he's picked up or found, so it could be that if he decides to send them out or grab you with them, he's just trying to gauge your reactions and figure out what in the heck you are, since he can't visually see you and has to sense you. That could in fact be how he hunts - he senses vibrations, auras, energy, whatever and uses that to identify his targets, and somehow his tendrils help with that.
And yes, of course they can be used to rip out organs, choke people, and impale people on trees. They probably can do several things from precise fine motor tasks (like picking locks on doors with the tips of them; yes in my head canon, Slendy can do that) to crude tasks (like smacking someone and sending them flying halfway across the damn forest; you know there's gotta be a lot of force and power behind those things). This nicely fits in with the idea that his arms and hands are actually disguised tentacles; he may specifically use them for camouflage, or he may actually form them into hands for fine motor tasks.
Additionally, if Slendy can emote, they may be indicators of his emotional state. I'd imagine they'd be kind of like a cat tail, with wildly flailing tendrils indicating aggression and frustration or anger, and gently undulating tendrils indicating a calm or relaxed state, possibly happiness. Also, many animals attempt to make themselves look larger by extending wings, fur, their tails, etc. Slendy might be doing something similar by extending his tendrils, or he may use them for camouflage since they look and might even feel like tree branches.

| I think his tentacles may feel like something...something like ink in water. They'd be cold, but they'd burn you at the same time. They'd be extremely strong, too. | |

| I like that idea, of his tendrils burning you I mean. It could leave a mark that would never really heal... The sensation of it, the pain (cold or hot) with you forever. | |

| I always imagined his tentacles as feeling like any other appendage, warm, maybe soft since they probably don't have bones. I also figured they wouldn't actually be use for anything, not enough support. More likely they just kind of wave around randomly and terrify people. | |

| I always figured they were boneless too, all muscle really. And again, I think there is very likely a lot of force behind them. One well-aimed strike could easily break your ribs or back, and send you flying. At the same time they can be used with precision, able to do things like turn doorknobs (because seriously look how long his fingers are, I had issues even opening doors when I was in costume on Halloween because of those long fingers), pry open things, and otherwise manipulate objects. | |

| Personally, I always thought of Slenderman's tentacles as something as hard to describe as their owner itself. Slimy and slippery, cold to the touch, like an octopus or slug, formless and shifting, should by no means have any real strength whatsoever.
Yet, when it actually uses them, they will hold you stuck with inhuman strength, a whip easily being able to break bones, send you flying or lift cars (Not that ol Slendy needs any of that). When they hold you, they still feel slippery and wet and you feel like if you should by all means be able to slide out of their grip, or at least move. Yet, when he uses them, you can't move at all. Formless as water, strong as steel.
...Yeah I got way too much into that.

| Oh God slippery tendrils would be even worse. I just... ugh.
I suppose, really, they might feel like whatever you'd most want them NOT to feel like. So if you hate slimy gross things, they'd feel like that, if you'd hope they weren't rough and scratchy and scraping against your skin, they're that. Scared of snakes, they feel scaly and smooth. Depends what exactly you dread the most.

Ooh what if they have like little hidden snapper-mouths that he only shows off if he's REALLY pissed or something? Maybe that's how he eats?

| I've had this idea for a while that he's really nothing but a branching, tentacle-like thing naturally, like an octopus or sea dragon or spider or something, and that when he shows his tendrils you're sort of seeing a sneak-peak to the creature he truly is under his disguise. | |

| My face when.
Allitetator wrote several really influential fearblogs, the most famous being 'brighter than a spoon' which featured the Slenderman, but was also the first ever appearance of the Cold Boy. He also wrote 'Confessions of an Apopheniac', which I loved, and a ton of other blogs. I think he created a few other fears too.
