| What if Masky is Jay FROM THE FUTUUURE.
Stuff went wrong (including J getting sideburns 0_0), so Future Jay went back to the past (probably using some of Slendy's powers) to help Past Jay.
And since Future Jay is friggin' insane, things aren't going so well.
This literally just came into my head a little earlier, and I felt I had to tell someone. Dunno why.

| Son, have you ever herped so hard that you derped?
Otherwise, theory sounds pretty legit. I don't think they'd let us know, even if we guessed the entire Mask/Slender relationship right out and screamed it in their face. They're going to play with their hands tight tot their chest with this, I can already tell (which is kind of a derp, because it's sort of a duh.)

| That would be...eh...cool, I guess, but ultra-confusing. I don't exactly think MH is going to go the time-traveling way though. :O | |

That all said, this theory has been beaten into the ground many times. I don't really believe it. If that kind of time travel were involved, I would think Troy and company would make a better effort to push us in that direction.

| The sexiness of sideburns is entirely dependent on the man who wields them. Few have what it takes. Tim does. And that's why he gets to wear the mask.
Seriously though, it's Tim. Same clothes, same build, same hair, same 'burns. This theory has been brought up before at UF and while I do not discount the possibility of some temporal weirdness occurring, I really don't think JAY FROM THE FUTURE is Masky and/or TTA. That's just a bit hard to swallow, even for MH.

| ^ I agree with Sachael, it can't be, but it's certainly an interestiong theory, and I'd love it to be true. Also, sideburns are only good when they have great hair to go with them. | |

| Masky is a Future Jay who met HIS future self and decided to warn his past self that they turn out to be kind of a dick. | |

He intends to do this by violently tackling J into the ground and beating the asshole out of him before it can grow.

He intends to do this by violently tackling J into the ground and beating the asshole out of him before it can grow. Because they become a football player and the fame and money go to his head. He must be taught to hate tackling NOW.

| And Slender Man is future J from the timeline where Masky successfully caused J to give up football. The lack of physical exercise made him grow up to incredibly thin. After a tragic accident involving an exploding movie theater burned his face off, he went back in time to stop J and Alex from becoming directors. | |

| To pull this thread back on the tracks:
This theory is actually quite possible.
I forget what entry it was, but do you remember when Jay was exploring the house, and he went through doors and they didn't lead where they were supposed to?
Time and Space were warped, due to the presence of Slendy. Time and Space could, in theory, be warped by an individual who had a fair amount of contact with Slendy, just as insanity comes with exposure to Slendy.
This could be Jay from the future. He's insane because of Slendy, but also can warp Time and Space because of Slendy.
I dunno, I think this would be insanely awesome if it were implemented.

So that's why Tim would be Masky! O: Or is Tim actually Jay, but warped into Tim or vice versa?

| Yeah, I realize Tim is Masky. I just felt like posting this since I couldn't get it out of my head.
Marble Hornets has the only fandom I know of where someone can make a theory that blatantly contradicts the obvious and bring in time travel to a story that seemingly has almost none and still have it considered plausible.
Which is awesome. | |
