Need some help from people who live in England.

My character is an England right now hunting down an organization of proxy killers. I am wondering where a good few places for them to hide would be. Also if people have interesting ideas for places to be looking or killing leave them here to.

A good place is Dartmoor. It's a bleak landscape that is huge, literally extends for miles. Another is the Isle of Wight, an island just off the south coast.

Well they would have multiple bases. I think the island that was mentioned would be a good idea. But some bigger cities would also be nice for their operations.

Um...well I guess somewhere around wembley? it's a gritty part of london but easy to hide in I guess. I would also say somewhere around cornwall. lots of isolated beaches and small creepy villages who hate outsiders

In terms of cities, there's one specific place that really captures the kind of pure, deep, existential horror that fits the slenderman mythos so well.
That city is Slough.
A truly despicable area that will burrow into your soul. The taint of it will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever go away.
Also it's a largely industrial town, which is an interesting setting, thematically and visually.

Hey, I kinda like Slough. I'd never want to live there, but it's got some nice shops. Plus The Office, like alliterator says.

But yeah, put 'em in Cornwall. It's the Deep South of the UK, in that you need a car to get around and there are lots of hills and rural places. Plus it's in the south. Easy to hide!
