I have a blog I'm sort of working on, just as a side project to blow off
steam while I'm in pre-production for my main ARG (not SM-related).
I've never actually worked on a SM blog before, I think it might pose an
interesting challenge, but my creativity always gets in the way. I just
can't get myself to use anothers' character, even if he is in the PD...
:/ I think it would be a nice challenge for me (though the monster I
have in mind is a bit closer to the Rake than SM, wolf-like) and it
would fit the setting I have in mind, plus, tbh, the SMM needs some good
series that aren't overdone.
IDK, any ideas? Is it worth transforming my own monster (currently only
known as the Roar, but that's far from his true identity) into something
SMM/Fearverse ish or what? Opinions?
The basic idea so far is that it's based around the songs by the band Children 18 3 (why I have yet to decide), mostly the lines "the words I wrote, are a broken chain...keeping me from the criminally insane" from All My Balloons. Maybe something paranormal, the Roar likes that song or something so he manipulates the events to mirror the song or it's just a coincidence or something.
As for the actual plot so far, it's this:
Sam Berkowitz II.
Yea, I know. I know... trust me. I already know about the whole name thing, okay?
You know the whole nature v nurture argument, right? Are we a product of our raising or are we born with a demon seed? Well, let's add a paranormal twist to that: instead of a dog, it's a...thing. A wolf at the door. The wolf, it's called the Roar, the Howl, the Rage. Really it goes by whatever the hell it wants to go by, it doesn't seem to care what I call it. But that's not the weirdest part. The weirdest part is that it not only chose me, but it gave me this ability to see...sigils. Marks, over someone's head. And it wants the mark.
But the only way to get that mark from someone is to kill them. Then the Roar comes along and takes the mark. God knows what he does with it.
So, this blog. Doctor said to write out my feelings instead of acting on them, learn to separate fiction from reality. Sort of my own Safety Plan, only it keeps you guys safe, not so much me.
And of course, given my need for attention, I figured it would post them somewhere, right?
So, come step right up and listen to the insane ramblings of a criminally insane...
