I found this Slender Man vlog through the tumblr user UltimateSlendermanBlog, also known on YouTube as iAmTheMiniCoop. This series is very different from a lot of other series, at least that's what it's supposed to be. So far, it's got a nice feeling to it. It's got a good classic-y mythos feel to it in a way.

These are quite strange... The uploader seems to be a proxy, from the way he types, with the caps lock and riddles and everything. I wonder If this will turn into a vlog series...

I dunno, at first when I was watching this video I was like, "Seems Legit," but then when he got to the end of the video.... It was like that's what he wanted you to think. I really like where this series is going.

Considering this account seems to be being passed around lots of kids, the grammatical issues seem to be on purpose. It's just your normal irritating 11 year old getting on the internet for the first time.

Hm. So wait, is Slendy supposed to be a ghost in this series? Was this some Proxy's account that this kid unfortunately found himself logged in to (Judging by the "If one takes one should expect to be robbed" message)? Is it a dead person's account that's being passed around to kids somehow? Is this showing several kids' accounts of being chased by the Thin One, and later going to tie them all together?

Hm. You don't see all that many Slenderseries with child protagonists; if they can pull this off and have it be interesting, then you're right - it could be a rather unique take on the Mythos... provided they did their research.

And that echoey noise in the footage, by the way, was really eerie and haunting. And was that muffled organ music near the end? Hm.

Also, "and my name is chris so hi" made me laugh. It was just so random a thing to say at the end... XD

Actually, that does make a lot more sense now that I think about it.

I'm still very intrigued by this, just because of the premise - Proxy account that a kid gets access to for one day to show that shit is going down, and therefore it's about many characters struggling and many stories at once instead of focusing on just one. Also, using underage characters, since it ties into Slendy kidnapping children, which I have always found to be one of the creepier aspects that pitifully goes unused or unreferred to half the time.

EDIT: Just checked out the main channel. Aesop stories? It makes me almost wonder if whoever really does own this Youtube channel isn't a Proxy, but someone who either is being stalked by Slendy or is otherwise trying to help these kids avoid the same fate, or... Damn, I am so confused and interested now, I must knooooowww...

The premise is pretty interesting, but I think it could be executed better. I wonder if there's a reason why the different people use the same text and background color.

I didn't even notice that... huh. Of the two kids that have posted videos (the ones not related to the Aesops, etc.), both of them use the colors lime green and white...

Interesting indeed... It seems to me that the channel owner is trying warn people about the perils of both the Slender Man and of making a Slenderseries, based on the Aesops given in the video descriptions.


Also, none of the videos have any sound, right? That's not just me?

Some parts have a little sound at the end. The "100% real ghost" video does, and so should the aesops. Check to see if your sound's not on mute on Youtube.

Hnh. Just rewatched them all (glad they're all quite short) while wearing headphones and I could hear everything fine. Odd, though, since I had my speakers up quite high the first time and I can't imagine why I would have had youtube on mute.

So I watched this series (all like 5 minutes of it lol) and I'm actually pretty excited for it, my expectations are probably (no offense to the creator) a little too high. The concept is excellent, i just hope its executed well as it moves forward.

So this is sort of like the Trials? Hm.

I'm calling it now. All of Slender Nation is the third candidate in The Game!

But no, really now - I think the third candidate's the viewer and this is an ARG.

I've never actually taken part in an ARG, so I'd be interested to play along if that's what ends up happening.
