Why are you guys doing this to him?

Alright, so maybe he's a bit of a scumbag when he's angry, but all he wanted was for his paintings and the poems people write of him to be noticed! People just say he's an evil creep who wants to kill you, but in reality, who's the bad guy? You. YOU. That's right, YOU! The PLAYER. You just want to leave, so you just TAKE his pictures and poems and LEAVE. Why? He spent a long time, and thought you'd make a good artist or writer. But NO, you just HAD to rip all of his paintings and leave! Hey, there's this thing called thievery. Even in video games (Other than Skyrim) it can be terrible! I get the feeling that it took a long time for Slenderman to be stuck in that game getting people to draw and write for him! The only reason he tries to kill you is because he worked really hard to get all of that! Alright, you feel bad now? That's okay, just WALK AWAY. That's right, feel ashamed!

There are several views on "lore" of this. I know there is no mythology to it, but this is one of those "joke" things, like the "All Slenderman wanted was $20.00".

Okay but the thing is, the game is like, not even 3% of the entire Slender Man mythos. If you do actually want to get educated on it, I highly suggest watching video series such as Marble Hornets. That's the bulk of what we discuss on this forum. Slender game jokes are somewhat regarded as in bad taste around here.
