I'm surprised it was on that website.  If you search "creepy walking hand thing" on youtube theres a better video of it.

| ^I WAS ACTUALLY JUST LOOKING FOR THAT GIF YESTERDAY. Turns out it's a robot by an artist named Tim Lewis, entitled "Pony".
It kinda grows on you, the more you look at it.
I also googled the shit out of that magibon thing too, found out that is also an art project-type thing. It's a little easier to deal with at that point >_> | |

| I've seen the walking hand thing. Though to me it isn't really creepy... I really have a weird sense of it, but I like it and think it's cute in a strange way. I kinda want it, and I wanna know more about it and how it was made?
(Wires or some sort of internal motor?) Because I'd make my own. The thing's really cute and it makes me want one. | |

| It's all kinetic. Clockwork, gears, pulleys, ect. It was featured in the 2009 Kinetica Art Fair. At least - it should be. It wouldn't make much sense for an animatronic scuplture to be featured in a Kinetic Art Fair. | |
