| I want to know your opinions on this. Should a proxy, have a voice? Stick to text? The Observer, kindervonritter, totheark; they all have messages over text with pretty much no vocal sounds. Should a proxy have a voice, provided it's scary?
In my new Slender series, I was gonna have a proxy actually speak. Now, i would make it distorted and intimidating, but he would speak

Now, i would make it distorted and intimidating, but he would speak Well, video series are obviously quite a different medium from the written one, but in blogs its well established that many proxies can speak and some are even capable of independent thought. Some operate under Him willingly to satisfy some psychosis rather than having to be mentally dominated by Him. I honestly think the scary voice change thing is overdone. I think the idea of a proxy who speaks calmly and normally adds to the uncanny factor, much like see Slender Man in broad daylight compared to night.

| I personally prefer proxies to not have voices but leaves notes/text videos. However, it TU5 we had a proxy who did nothing but laugh/giggle, that's how she got her name. | |

| Thanks for that. Maybe enhance his voice so it's slightly louder than normal even though he's speaking calmly? I think my proxies (don't worry, not more than three addressed; not a proxy fest, just lots of plot.) will serve him somewhat willingly, as he gives them what they want.
Basically, I had three proxies (each one targeted at a different member of the group. Each chosen to hit a weakpoint of each of the protagonists.)
One would never talk, only breath. One would talk, very rarely, and only in a message. And one would talk, but it was because he was the one who really enjoyed his job.
And I remember your parody of the voice change thing hahah.

| A proxy is only a human. If he/she ever has to talk, it should sound emotionless. | |

See, I understand that. But then people like the Observer smile, and say SHUT THE F!@# UP! and whatnot. I was thinking that the emotions that are conveyed by the proxies are only allowed to increase the terror in us, oor to piss us off. One proxy was going to list the people who died as a kill count, like casualties in war. Does that jive with anyone?

| And they wouldnt be cackling in person at us, but if they hack our twitter or something, theyd have some sort of personality, to distinguish them. | |

| Ever think of having a proxy be completely normal? Well, except for having an EXTREME passion for his job. Imagine
*Video of a guy, thinking its someone running
" ( Very obviously exagerated ) GUIZ I IZ HUNTED BY THE TALL MAN WHO HAS THE NO FACE AT ALL PLZ HALP MEH!"
*laughs
"Hello, I am a proxy, if you don't know what that means, look it up fucktard. I kill people, and I have a message for ______"
"I am coming for you buddy, and I will *teeth kind of closed, eyes big* ENJOY IT"
*completely normal voice and facial expression*
"Have a nice night, sweet dreams."
I always thought something like that would be funny but also extremely scary in the fact that someone can be so calm and willing to murder anyone he is asked to, simply because he was asked to.

| When I was a youngling, I used to be an avid fan of the sift heads sniper flash games. What the guy above is describing reminds me of Vinnie, the main stickman. Somebody who just genuinely loves killing people, regardless of who's telling them to? It's possible, but if would have to be a hollowed rather than a proxy, as they get greater independence. Proxies are literally bodies that Slendy inhabits. According to some canons anyway. | |

| I usually go by the fear mythos. Proxy = Not controlled, Normal person
Hollowed = emptied out shell that just kills things
What makes the most sense though, when you only have a small amount of proxies, is that the more willing you are to serve, the more freedom you get.
