Staff Member Nominations!

Well, here we are. I have two amazing mods from this community of fine people. They've shown, in the very short time as mods, that they know what the duties are and can accomplish them very efficiently. However! I am still looking for one last user to join the team! So, I would love it if you all would post here and either nominate a user you think would be perfect for the position, or nominate yourself! Now, I will say this. Whether you decide to nominate another or yourself, I would ask for a good explanation as to why you think they/you would be good for the position.

I look forward to seeing who's names pop up here!

I would like to express my interest. I've been on this community for only five months, but I've grown to love both it and every single person who uses it. I've participated in every discussion to which I felt I could contribute, I've welcomed new members with open arms with no incentive other than the fact that they might bring something new to the community, something fresh. Occasionally they have. I'm online throughout the day, thanks to the magic of smartphones, and I've always followed the forum rules to the letter. I am courteous and respectful, I would like to think, and I have a decent command of the English language.

I know I mightn't have been overly 'courteous' to you upon your arrival, that was solely because I wanted to defend the community. Nobody was asking questions and there were accusations thrown around left, right and centre. It frustrated me because as well as being distressing for current users, it proved to be detrimental to the joining figures. Before all the conflicts, we had a few users a day starting introduction threads. We're starting to go back to normal now, but we might have turned away some amazing people with our infighting, and that really irritated me.

DaLadyBugMan. I've known him for a while and he's someone I'd trust as a moderator. He's been in the Slenderverse for a long time and as such as a good amount of knowledge on it. I believe he's a frequent user on here, too.

I would throw my hat in, but it might be more fitting for me to try for one of the creator spots. That aside, I agree that DaLadyBugMan would be a good choice, for the same reasons that Malus listed.

Another Thought would be ExorcistGamer. Another person who is very well read with the mythos, including the fear mythos. Also, every post he makes is Professional as hell. I'd say he looks to be mod material.

I actually had Etreo in mind myself. The only issue would be that he hasn't been around long, but I think the fact that he hasn't been here long and was still one of the first names to jump to my head speaks volumes.

I really think Etreo has what it takes, so I nominate him. He has the energy and a moderate amount of experience with the people who frequent this forum. I think he would be someone most folks around here could look up to and respect without diminishing the sense of fun he brings to the table in every discussion.

Edit: I'd like to nominate myself as well due to previous experience as a mod and administrator. This community is really something i'm interested in. I have a genuine respect for the rules, and welcoming in new members. I can set decent examples to follow and am always understanding, which is a quality to look for in a moderator as I believe there is a system to follow and bans come as a last resort (except for some exceptions.) So I'm throwing that out there as well. ^^

I think that I have another vote in favor of Etreo :3

He has the good of the forum in mind when push comes to shove, so it'd be a good choice, along with anything stated already :p
