| Ello, just wanted to know your guys opinion on DVDs. As in when a series makes a dvd of a season or so of their vlog. Like what MH does.
Do you like that? Should people do it? Etc etc etc

| I believe StanfrederickBTS is in the process of making one right now. I personally like the idea, because a lot of my friends can't stand sitting in front of the computer screen watching videos for several hours, and prefer to watch it on TV. So yeah, I like the idea.  | |

| Nathan has been putting the Big 5 (besides Marble Hornets) onto dvd.
YES even EverymanHybrid (which is intense to get all that on there)
So, i know your question is about people doing it for their own vlog,
but I'm cool with it...

| I think it's nice because it'll make the marathon sessions with friends™ easier. Big screen, comfy sofa & space, not loading and clicking videos to new tabs etc. But then there needs to be an actual season etc.
But the series seem more real and "it's actually happening now" etc. when you'll watch them on Youtube. But as you've seen it already: then the DVDs. Or that's how I'd do it.
But god, I'd like to have more series on my DVD shelf... C: | |

| I like the idea. Besides revenue from YouTube itself, it can advertise itself through other means, and in turn fund new projects or improve entries. A perfect way to share, spread, and expand the indie field of media. | |
