I'll start off again, what do you guys think is going to happen in Noah's Thanksgiving footage?

I bet something happened during the dinner. Like if someone was attacked. I really can't guess about it right now.

They were eating dinner, a knock on the door, no one's there, but turn around and a certain tall, skinny fellow is in the house, just standing there. Noah has to run away.
I don't know, I just made that up, and I can totally picture it in my head.
Did anyone else notice in the video where Milo is leaving Noah's house, his suitcase looks empty? That bothered me and really has nothing to do with anything, I was just wondering if anyone else saw that. xD

How did it look empty? Like the front is concaved in a bit?

Maybe I should watch that one again, but it looked really light and, yeah, the front was kind of concave. I dunno, maybe me and most people I know are weird, but I'm used to seeing suitcases that seem more full when people go on trips like that.
Did that make sense? XP

Either Slendy is going to show up, something creepy will happen, or we'll learn about Noah's family having even further connection to Slendy.

Whatever happened... it's certainly taking a long time for Noah to show it to us. Supposedly Noah doesn't want to look at it because it'll UPSET HIM. -.-
Also Bloodshade - awesome sig. Marilyn Manson FTW.

Yep, me too. I wonder if he'll let us forget about it entirely, then bring it up again later like "Oh yeah, I was going to watch this..."

aaaaaand here it is!
I like Mr. Fletcher, but I wish Noah showed a little more depth. He's basically just Jay with more swearing. He also needs to get off his lazy ass and check his Thanksgiving footage already. If I were in his position you can bet I'd be pouring over all the footage I had post-haste.
At least they're answering some questions. Intriguing that Milo's mom was also being stalked by Slender Man. The mention of her abandoned house caught my interest. I wonder if they're planning something with that. They haven't had a problem ripping elements wholesale out of MH before, so I wouldn't be surprised if Noah goes on some haunted house adventures.

I agree that they do rip off MH a lot, perhaps even a bit too much. But the good special effects and the differences in storyline still make TT worth watching.

If I were part of Tribe Twelve, I would want to avoid uploading a video at the exact same time as Marble Hornets. Just the same principal as not scheduling my sitcom rerun at the same time as Amercan Idol.

I think it was unintentional, Noah's tweet about the video being posted tonight was before MH's tweet about Entry #32 being posted, TribeTwelve struck first today. It wasn't planned, just coincidence.

Can someone transcribe the call in the new video? I can't understand a damn thing the phone's saying.

I don't mind the shared elements: the main appeal of the Slenderman Mythos for me is the fact it's basically a campfire horror story through the prism of Web 2.0...or to a lesser but still valid: old campfire fiction/oral storytelling in GENERAL. Slendy himself is an open source figure of myth like Gilgamesh but with more ear sodomy. And if you have different people telling a story about the same person, it's inevitably going to have differences no matter how close they try to stick. I think it'd be cool if people thought less of Tribe Twelve as a rip off and more of a valid interpretation of the character that happens to lift some Hornet-esque elements.
And interestingly, I'm fine because those elements FIT. What's interesting about Marble Hornets is, like any good horror, it doesn't really answer a lot of questions it raises (which I think is a good thing...things will be less scarier, I think, if we ever learn what Slendy is about). So Slenderman per Marble Hornets is probably the purest distillation of the character we're even going to get in vlog form by virtue of it being around first...but that purity allows those elements to be lifted and tweaked. And that's cool. It's like comparing two manuscripts of the same sourcemyth. Tribe Twelve is significant and popular in this whole mythos because, beyond being well made, it's an interesting stepping stone and a middle ground between the extremes of Marble Hornets and EverymanHYBRID. And it DEFINITELY should be studied by anyone wanting to pen Slenderman Mythos fiction.
I rather like, for example, Slenderman as a figure of myth (rather than completely unknown in MH and a sentient internet meme in EverymanHYBID) and I'm really curious about how this story actually adapts that into Slenderman's flexible character. And if it needs to lift some Marble Hornets elements to make that work, hey, I'm fine with that: the different context is enough for me.

I see what you mean. I also enjoy how Tribe Twelve delves deeper into the mythos of Slenderman. I loved the episode where Noah talks to his grandfather and we learn that his family has seen Slenderman before. And the mental image of Slendy appearing in front of a bunch of soldiers to take a guy to who-knows-where is simply awesome.

It makes me wonder how camera-based Slendy actually is, here.

I really liked the acting in the phone call. You know when you close your eyes, you can tell if the acting is good or not? The acting in this was quite good. Sounded really believable. Liking this series more and more.

Here you go Hither. <3
John: Hello? Hello? Noah: Uh, hello, uh, is this John Fletcher? John: Yeah, this is him. Noah: Hey, uh, my name's Noah. I understand that you were once living with the Asher family? Uh, is this correct? John: Yeah. Noah: Okay, uh, I'm trying to contact Mary Ashe. Do you have her phone number? John: Well, her number is 256-*audio cuts out* But she doesn't live at her old house anymore. Noah: Okay, uh, what about her cell? John: Yeah, hold on a sec, hold on, hold on. Noah: Alright. John: Yea, that's uh, 845-*Audio cuts out* She hasn't answered her cell in months, so you won't get anyone. Who is this again? Noah: Oh, okay. Uh, um, I'm sorry. Uh, I've been trying to contact you for a while now. Um, I'm Noah Maxwell. Milo was my cousin. Also my par- John: Oh! Okay, oh you're Noah. Yeah. *chuckles* Noah: Huh, wha? John: Yeah, I saw you at the funeral. Milo always talked about you, at *something unintelligible* Yeah, you were one of his old friends. When'd you guys stop talking? Noah: Well I uh, we just sorta drifted apart and I really should have kept in contact with him. I feel terrible about all of it and I- sorry about all the messages I've been leaving on your message machine and- John: Ah, that's fine. I've just been on leave for the holidays. I just haven't been able to get to my phone till now. Noah: *Stumbling on words* If it's alright can I ask you a few questions, if that's okay with you? John: Yeah sure. Noah: I've been very curious about Milo's passing, and uh, were there and suspicious circumstances surrounding his death at all? That you know of? John: I'm not all too sure. I don't know if you know, but I left Mary after he visited you in 2008. To tell you the truth, I don't know much about how he died beside that he OD'd on his pills. Noah: Well do you know anything about it? At all? John: Yeah, I kept in contact after Mary before I lost touch of her. She told me that Milo was not his normal himself like those last couple of weeks. You might already know he was an anti-social fellow. And she said he became more reclusive than usual. You know? And he didn't even want to get to school, he locked himself in his room for hours. He didn't want to eat. Refused food. I thought he was steadily losing it. They didn't take him to the doctor. He made such a fuss. He never wanted to go outside, nothing like that. Milo really became detached from his mom too, and honestly I wouldn't blame him. Noah: Wait, what do you mean? What do you mean you wouldn't blame him? John: Why do you think I left her? Milo wasn't the only one going crazy. I was with her for 5 years. Every so often she'd have these like odd spells where she'd just be paranoid about everything. I thought it was just a lie or a tick of something of hers, but it got more frequent over the years. That's where I thought Milo got his mental issues from. From her. So don't let her tell you bullshit(?). You know what I'm talking about. It couldn't of been from Robert. I knew him for years before Mary and I had met up. Yeah, we were pretty good friends. Now he was a sane man. Noah: Alright, I didn't know much about her. I barely even saw her, maybe once or twice. But uh, what do you mean she was paranoid? John: She never told me until I was really with her. She heard voices, locked herself in rooms of the house. You know, she saw people who weren't there. Yeah, she told me about some man named Mr. Slim that was after her. Yeah, he was always there, she always told me. Some wacko bullshit. She came at me with a fucking knife one night, said I was working for him or some shit. But I managed to calm her down before she did anything stupid. God damn, I'd *something* my life. I had to leave. Noah: Hold on, hold on. What did she say about this man? John: Eh, she didn't say much. I never bothered to ask her about her delusions. *Chuckles* I always remember her mentioning about seeing the guy being by her bed at night. It was all in her head. Totally psycho. Noah: Wait, so you're telling me you don't know anything about her current whereabouts? Where she is, where she lives? John: No, the last time I saw her was probably when you did, at the funeral. About a month after that she stopped picking up her phone. I drove over to her house, about two weeks ago, just to check in on her. I'll tell ya, the property was overrun with weeds, house was totally abandoned, car was gone. No idea. Don't know where she went. I actually thought you would know more. Noah: Okay. I've been trying to contact her, for a while now. A few months. Does she have an e-mail, or is there any sort of way I could get in touch with her? It's very important that I do. John: Hey, I've been trying too man. Haven't found a trace of her yet. Besides, she just got up and left town. *Creaking noise* Hey, I got a job interview in about 20 minutes so could we wrap this up? Noah: Ah shit, alright. Uh, if you happen to find her, or get any contact info on her; please, please let me know, alright? John: Yeah, alright. Alright alright. I'll give you a call if anything comes up. I have your number on my phone now so I'll just call you. Noah: Okay, thanks so much Mr. Fletcher. This is, this really means a lot to me. I really appreciate your time. John: Yeah, no problem man. Noah: Okay, I'll talk you you later alright? John: Yeah, bye. Noah: Alright bye, and thanks again.
