Is there any good american goth metal?

Let me clarify since I am speaking of personal preference. Goth Metal like dir en grey or malice mizer. The only decent english  speaking band I know of is sins of thy beloved, but that isn't quite what I'm looking for. Cradle Of Filth isn't a band I like, but something like them with a more haunting sound and a better vocalist might work.

As far as I know, there aren't really any popular American goth rock bands, but the band The Cure is a very popular English band.
