The fucking comment fields make these videos even worse; "Holy crap, are you still alive?!" and "I had the slenderman stalking me too 2 years ago, but I showed no fear in him and he hasn't come after me since, be brave and don't fear him" are common.

I remember some guy commenting and he said that he should get a dog because he was being stalked by slender man and the dog scared him away......A F*UCKING DOG scared the slender man away...because a dog owned by a indie film maker disappearing and a dog owned by a group of friends being killed would soooooo unrealistic.....

BUT the possibly the worst thing about this is this abomination:

Hm...I don't know if you were aware, but KinVonDerRitter is pretty much a supplement to DarkHarvest, and ties into their plot.

I understand that it is a extra piece of the pie but in my opinion it doesn't make sense because the channel hasn't been active in like... a year

If you look at the upload dates, and how many videos there are, half of them are from 2010 or something.  It doesn't post often (I think there are 10 videos maybe?), and it is really just there to tell some of the rainwood background story, and to mark something extremely important about the cult, not about Chris and Alex. Until something happens with Jacob, I don't see the channel uploading anymore.

There was one a while back, I can't quite recall the name to.

I only remember that one of the entries took place on a beach, and it tried way too hard to emulate EMH. 

The acting was atrocious, their Slender Man was awful, and there were no distortion effects whatsoever.

CaughtNotSleeping...

Used to be good but now its just laugh material to me because of its attempt of trying to interesting me but its not working a single bit.

Caughtnotsleeping. I thought it was okay at first but it eventually went downhill, I think the addition of the butterflies made it drift off from the Slender Man Mythos into something else entirely.

I'm not fond of CaughtNotSleeping and 5zer02. They both have there moments, but they both become more and more confusing as their stories progress. I didn't like what I thought was 5zer02's ending (The Final Cut Parts 1 and 2). It left several of my questions unanswered. For me, CaughtNotSleeping slowly went downhill and all over the place with it's story. Though I really like it's acting and special effects, the story eventually fell flat for me.

I never managed to get into EMH. I tried to follow it without the use of the timeline, mostly because I didn't know of the timeline's existence, and it was just impossible. The story is spread out over several media and I just got confused. I refuse to use supplementary materials and explanations, since they kind of ruin the whole "oh shit...that was really that all along!" type moments so I just kind of stayed confused. Another teeny pet peeve was early on with the premise of a health/nutrition/self-defence video thing. I can't stand those! Maybe I'll give it another chance at some point.

I suggest you watch the videos on this channel if you want to get into EMH. It has screencaps and everything of the out of channel stuff, plus all related channel videos. It does it by seasons too.  You can skip the livestreams, btw they don't include anything other than what the characters know at the time.  Here is the link

Well, a thing that helped me greatly is this let´s watch EMH thread. it includes almost all the videos, the livestreams and the happenings on the other sources like twitter/CYSTW in the right order and is a bit easier to follow than the timeline on the wiki (at least for me and most of the people that i showed this thread)

For the life of me, I cannot get into CaughtNotSleeping. It just doesn't grab me at all.

I Really want to mention though that i'm not fond of any "fear mythos" series, mainly just because I find the “fear mythos” to be pretentious as all fuck, I hate that people feel the need to apply meaning to eldritch abominations. It’s unnecessary, it’s stupid. Not every monster needs to represent some sort of deep seated fear. Plus the term “fears” just seems full of itself to me. Never liked it as a description of a living thing.

I'm sorry if people disagree with this but its just my opinion.
