Wolves are very, very strong and can take a lot of damage apparently. Just me and my first took on a horde of spiders pouring out of the spawner. It was a little dodgy at first, but it worked out in the end.

Can't wait for the next update! They're adding weather and all sorts of cool stuff!

No, they TOOK OUT weather, and they're gonna add it back in. That's also when the game stops being beta. It was inevitable. For Minecraft to find it's way here I mean.

I'm kind of new to Minecraft. Only built a mine once, I found a lot of redstone, two gold, and a diamond. I also fell into lava, lost it all, and couldn't find my way back to my house. So I rage quit and created a new world. Got myself a two story house in a frozen tundra. Right over some ice. I also have found only one dog. But I didn't have any bones so I killed it...Haven't seen another one since.

I got me a Slender Man skin too. 8)

I did once...ONCE. I died and lost everything. I'm currently working up the courage to try again.

That stuff is surprisingly hard to find when you are actively looking for it. But as soon as I had enough to last a while, I found A LOT more.

Oooh, did it have a saddle? I hear you can only get those from treasures.

Wolves show up on peaceful mode, they will rarely be found unless inside a forest biome. You will still need bones to tame them, however.

What youʻve found that you call "buried treasure" is actually a dungeon, the spider inside the cage is a monster spawner that spawns spiders and hybrid Spider Jockeys if you were to turn off peaceful mode.

Dungeon chests can contain things you cannot get otherwise, like cocoa beans and saddles.

Best way to find your way out of extensive mines is to put all the torches on, say, the right side, while you're going down. That way, if you get lost, all you have to do is keep the torches on your left and you'll find your way back exactly the way you came when you laid the torches.

Somehow my brain subconsciously remembers all those twists and turns, so I just try not to think about it, however if I ever do think I'll have trouble, I use the torches.

Also be sure to take advantage of charcoal if you cannot find actual coal. That's a life saver.

I would....but I'd just emberass myself as I'm not that good in Minecraft yet.
And everyone'll probably have the same skin as mine. Slender Man. It's also the only skin I like using.

Unfortunately not, instead it's just the retarded console cousin of Minecraft.

You know, if we can't find a server/make one, we could do a Beta succession game. Basically, we have a list of players and one game file. The first guy makes a new game, plays for x amount of time, saves it, then uploads the file for the next person in the list. Then, that person downloads it, plays it for x amount of time, saves, uploads, and passes it on. etc. etc.

That sounds cool but a server sounds fun too.

Made a shitty rollercoaster today.

So, I'm planning on making a giant forge over the main lake of fire in the Nether. Tons of furnaces, automation, minecart tracks, and awesomeness.

You guys ever try to make a fireplace/garbage can using lava? I did.
