all of the SecretAgentBob stuff is under-quoted. Thank you. I think human blood attracts slender man. Thats why alex busted his head open after he was dead. It was unnecessary unless Alex was trying to attract him. That's what I got from it.

I think deep down Alex legitimately wanted to keep Jay safe, but at this point he's so far off the deep end he's lost sight of that. This entry was Alex's big psychological break, his "snap," if you will.
At the begining of the entry, he didn't want Jay to follow him because he didn't want Jay to get hurt (depsite all the shit Jay seems to have accidently inflicted on Alex). He was going crazy before this, but he still had some sanity and consciousness left. Once the guy with the beard approached him though, he completely lost it. He flew into a fit of blind rage and, well, we know how that ended. That was his turning point, I think. Now he's just so far gone and tired of everything, he just wants to end it, and he thinks getting rid of Jay will do that.

| Do we have confirmation that the person filming in 'noentry' is actually Jay? I know that's what we've thought so far, but if there's any possibility that it could be Alex, I think we should consider that before we start thinking "Oh, something must have happened to Alex because Jay has his chest cam in noentry."

I dunno, whoever's wearing the strap-on (yes I deliberately phrased it that way) in 'Noentry' seems awful keen on touching that bloody rock. It doesn't conclusively prove that it's not Alex, but would he really need to confirm that it's blood on the rock he used to bash the other guy's head in? Really the whole spirit of investigation in Entry 29 would be at variance with Alex, who clearly already knows the tunnel very well Somewhat tangential question: have we addressed the possibility that the "noentry" clip was originally hidden on Jay's laptop specifically for him to find later, possibly by Jay himself in the foreknowledge that he was going to lose his memory? I've also thought that the filename might be a reference to his practise of calling his videos Entries rather than to being barred from a location, though I can't really say what importance that would have

Maybe we're thinking about it all wrong. It could be entirely the opposite of what we were thinking before. In "noentry" the person with the chest cam has a regular camera. If Jay really did get the chest camera from Alex why would he use it instead of his own? Maybe Alex took Jay's camera because there was something he didn't want him to film?

| Well Jay woke up at the end of the 7 months with the strap on, so it could still be him, or if not, then it might be whoever the fuck tta is trying to get a message to him. | |

| Maybe when Jay meets Alex at the park he films the footage for "noentry" (Finding the rock Alex used) and then he got spirited away/kidnapped/whatever for 7 months by Slenderman, when he shows up at the end of the video. During the 7 months he loses his memory, gets the entry uploaded to his laptop (Although it WOULD be strange to imagine Slendy using youtube) and is placed in the hotel. HOW any of that happens is anyone's guess, especially what else happened during the time he was out of commission. | |

| So I know everyone here thinks that Alex snapped, trying to kill Jay, but I'd actually like to throw two other possibilities into the pot. 1.) Alex could have meant Slender Man. Maybe Slendy wanted to kill the early beard and gave Alex the delusion that that guy was Slender Man, so Alex attacked him. Slenders seems to stalk Alex at home, so maybe by "Don't follow me!" he meant that Slender Man should stop to stalk him. 2.) Alex could have thought that Beardy was a masky. He might have known that he was followed, but mistook Jay for a masky. When Beardo approached him, he thought the Masky came out of hiding to act as a mole, and he attacked him because of that. He might even be right. I have no idea what the viking replies to his sudden yelling, but it doesn't sound as if he finds it strange or unsettling at all!
Did anyone think to check if he and music-person-that-jay-though-is-stalking-him might be the same person?
You know what speaks for this theory? Pay attention: The first time Alex says "don't follow me" is just after the audible distortion started. Jay has been stalking him before, but he didn't say anything then.
Apart from that, we have no clear proof of Alex thinking that it is Jay who approached him. Instead, we know that Alex called Jay afterwards, so he clearly must have known that he didn't kill him. Such semi-delusions seem unlikely to me. And then, of course: Jay is still alive. We saw how capable Alex is of killing. He goes for a quick, efficient way. So maybe he never planned to kill Jay in the first place, but actually shows something to him that will throw him off-track.
Just my thoughts.
EDIT: Another short addition: Alex mumbles "Don't follow me!" exactly at the parts where Jay has lost him.

Alex getting murdered? I don't think so Tim. Alex is a quintessential character to the story's progression. to kill him would be to answer absolutely NONE of the fans questions. Why is Alex lying? Why did he wait for Slender Man in the tunnel (which is believed by some to be the ark. I agree with them.) Who is Totheark? Where is Amy? Where did Tim go? Why was Alex chosen when he was a boy? And many other questions. Considering there will be a third and final season (there is no way they will just quit. I believe they will continue to post rather infrequently or continue the story longer than they are letting on. It's like canceling a TV program in its prime.) then we will probably not get a whole lot of answers until the third season.

I wasn't talking about Alex.. Well pretty much the same goes for all the characters in MH. Especially Jay. If he was killed, the story would end right there.

| Hmmmm.
Well, there is the possibility that nothing happened to her. She could have made it out of the hotel and left. Amy doesn't seem all that concerned. I consider that possibility unlikely.
To know what happened to Jessica, we must first know the intentions of the Masky that invaded their rooms at the hotel. She may be dead. Perhaps she is strung up in a tree somewhere in the middle of Rosewood park.
It isn't impossible that Alex has her, and is trying to throw Jay off the trail. He could be holding her for whatever reason. I would choose that option out of the three.

| I'm starting to think maybe Alex or Slender man killed Amy there was only one time that it seemed that Alex was looking for her when Jay and Alex went to her house and called Jessica. I'm thinking that maybe Amy is dead and Jay is leading Jay on a wild goose chase. If it your girlfriend or someone you cared about disappeared with out a trace wouldn't you do anything and everything in your power to find them? Alex did almost nothing, and now he killed someone, he has clearly lost most of his mind (sane people don't kill random people in parks) but Alex not killing Jay and tring to stop Jessica from asking questions or having her worry about Amy, so she wont get hurt (when he called her and informed her he "got in tough with Amy) could mean that he might be fighting Slender man... mentally that is | |

Jay is leading Jay on a wild goose chase? :p I don't know if Alex killed Amy, but I do agree that Slender Man probably took her, if only as a means to draw Jay to him, using Alex. And Jessica found out about Slender man and was used as a proxy at some point, but was contacted by TiMasky and was helping him get his revenge on Alex and Jay, in return for protection against Slendy. But she didn't want to completely abandon Alex and Jay, so she left the code for the safe and tried to run away. I feel maybe Alex is angry with Slender Man, but since he can't kill Slender Man, he ends up killing an innocent man. Smashing the mans head in is how he removes his face, so he looks more like slender man. Afterwards, when Alex has realized his mistakes, he also realizes that Slender Man is around, since he always comes by when Alex is angry. But when Slendy does show up, he helps Alex by getting rid of the man. I have a lot more to say about all this, but my brain is just like "Slender derpity herp". Plus I think someone has already said these points.

| Bringing this back for a random thought I had while looking at the tvtropes page for Marble Hornets:
Did anyone else have the fleeting feeling that the man Alex killed resembles that guy from the Joker Blogs who played Father McHale, the Irish Priest, in the season finale? Maybe I'm just generalizing but for a few seconds there I was going "I thought Joker shot you?" |
