Jeezus, so much build up with no relief. I feel like my nerves have blue balls. Blue nerves? Tense balls? Hm...
I kind of like this, though. This was one of the most tense entries as of late, in my opinion at least. Really sets us up for something dynamic in the next entry or so. And would you look at that, Jay's finally getting a bit better at stalking. Our little man is growing up. ;w;
Oh, and one more interesting note. When Jay was yelling in the tunnel, his voice acquired the same distortion as Alex's when he's angry. Coincidence?
Also, because it was bugging me for nearly the whole entry: FOCUS, MOTHERFUCKER, DO YOU HAVE IT? | |

I think he did just want to talk. He wants some answers, which Masky obviously has more of than Jay. And I think Jay is finally realizing what a lot of us have already: Masky may not be a threat to him.

Okay...looking good so far, nice tense build up.
Oh here we go, after entry 38. It's time.
OH CRAP, major distortion right off the bat, this is gonna be goo-AND NOTHING HAPPENS!
Well, it was still a good entry, nice tense build up, interesting that the video seemed to get worse and cut out as he went through the tunnel. Agree with other comments that it seems like Jay wanted to just speak to Masky, also looks like he was trying to lead Jay through the tunnel for something.
Well, may not have got anything massive like we were expecting but with how tense this entry was, it really sets a mood for the next entry which this time does appear to be something big.
I'm of the suspicion that Alex's tape is going to feature Amy's fate.

| I actually really enjoy the entries like this, the ones where nothing "scary" happens, and in stead just gets us worked up expecting it too.
It gives them a chance to concentrate on advancing the story, and keeps the full on scared much more refreshing and unexpected!
It would be no fun at all if the scares came along every episode ouo
Plus, the best thing about Marbel Hornets to me is there ability to build up tention and anticipation! | |

I was surprised he managed to no screw up his stealth mission also, guess he's starting to look at things a little more clearly. Also, did anyone else notice the pocket knife he took with him at the beginning of the entry? I think he suspected something violent might arise even before he knew what Alex had done in the tunnel. How messed up would it have been though if something did happen? Maybe we'll find out in the next two entries or so how messed up things can get. Who knows.

I really wasn't expecting masky to be there in that forest. If anyone was going to step out from behind a tree, I thought it would've been slendy, it seemed like he was around from all the camera distortion. Did anyone catch him in the background?
Also, I noticed one of the papers in Alex's room said "Return Home" a bunch, that hasn't appeared in any other drawings before...

The suspense/letdown for me was awful; I had work this morning, and no time to watch it before I went there, so I spent all morning ready to see intense shit happen. And then he was at Alex's place and I was like "those bastards just saved everything for the last two minutes." I was ready for a scare until the very end. I seriously thought Alex or Slendy was gonna be at the door when Jay left. Oh well.
#51 should be insane though. Or just nothing. I want to see Jessica again. :l
On that note, what did Alex mean when I asked "How are things with Jessica?" Was there some sort of relationship between her and Jay? Or did he just mean finding her (I thought she was found..)?

Good entry. Good entry. More proof that Jay is Sinclair. I'm starting to wonder if they're even trying to hide it anymore. The entry also helped a little in getting a sense of when everything happened. I'm a bit more confident in the order of the playlist now.

I liked this entry. I admit, I was a little scared during the end. I kept saying, "GetthehelloutJayAlexisgoingtofindyou" and then it changed to "GetthehelloutJaySlendyisgoingtofindyou." But, yeah, it was definitely a let down. I was expecting something a little more exciting that this. And TripleDPie, he's saying "Stop, stop running! What?! What do you want?!" And the rest is just him groaning/being out of breath.

I usually watch the entries multiple times. I've watched 50 twice so far. I just KNEW when Jay posted that screencap that it was going to correlate with 38. I could turn out to be totally off-base (that's what I looove about MH), but I don't get the feeling Jay is Sinclair. I get the feeling Sinclair is Jessica. In 45, when they turn around to face Alex, Sinclair's frame seems to be slight and strikes me as female. Also, Alex asks Jay, "How are things with Jessica," and "Bring Jessica back with you, I want her to see this too." When Jay tries to catch TiMasky, I thought it was interesting that he leads him through the tunnel, because it seems to correlate with Slendy-possession; perhaps Masky is trying to get Jay turned into a "masky." His stupor-like state suggests something interesting...
I also noticed a bent-over black figure in the forest, but I can't tell if it was intentional or not. :/

I felt the entry was disappointing just because we had to wait so long... And then nothing overly exciting happened.
-I think Alex is just pissed that Jay told Jessica that Amy was still missing, and feels that they're conspiring against him.
-Also, for the drawing that says 'Return Home' over and over again; Alex has known about Slendy since around his seventh birthday... Maybe Slendy left and Alex wants him to come back? Or maybe there's something back at Alex's childhood home that is important?
-If the numbers on the tape are important, Entry #42 was the one after we first say Sinclair is Rosewood Park

I promise I'm not trying to be rude when I'm say this, and I actually agree with you, but I've said this before and I'll say it again: don't judge a character by their body type. Does everyone remember what happened with Masky? "Well whoever's playing Masky now is a bit bulkier, so it obviously can't be Tim! This must be a new Masky!" We all know how that turned out.

I really can't tell what's what anymore. I have questions from this episode that tie in quite nicely to questions in previous episodes.
So this would mean that this reply would probably be about a page in length with possible theories and such. ....And at the moment I reeeaaally don't wanna put all those down yet. However I will pose this one question. Masky doesn't seem to be out to hurt Jay in this episode and it almost seems to me that Jay wants to talk to him. He's a Tsundere? I don't know. Must mean something is going to happen to put Masky back as an enemy, or as others suggested before...he simply attacked to get Jay moving and investigating again. One thing that bugs me though is: When Masky shows up chronologically later in the hotel...he was still limping assumedly due to Alex hitting him with his pet rock. Didn't it look like Masky was running back at a normal speed or faster in this recent entry? | |
