- Pretty good episode, but the SM appearances seemed a little more... tame to me. I don't know, maybe it's the camera quality or the other videos have desensitized me, but his pop-ups seem to me to just be less startling. Was glad to get some more footage of the actual filming though. I feel like there should be more if this was going to be a full-fledged project, even if it was going to be cut short.
On a side-note, the quality of Slenderman's appearance in this one got me thinking, how do you guys think he actually goes about doing... whatever he does to people? I mean I can't picture him Physically assaulting them, with those silly curved arms. And, at least in that one entry in the park, he seems to walk kind of slowly. Psychic attacks don't really make sense to me either, it doesn't really make sense to chase after them if you can brainkill them without the hassle. Is there any official standing on how a Slenderattack would play out? I like to think of it as a mindraping; when He is so close to something, it's so... unnatural, I suppose, that the human mind can't take it and even the body begins to feel side effects from Him being that close. Hence why there's the 'cough of death' and why some people exhibit signs of amnesia after encounters with Him. This is just my opinion, however. I've read that Slendy can also attack people with his tentacles, but that depends on the writer.

| Well, I wish we could see Slendy getting crazy on a victim in a video, but due to budget constraints I don't think we'll see that. MH Slendy is likely the type that'll stick to mindraping. In other forms of media, I say that the only limit to what Slendy can do is up to the author. | |

Well now that I look at him Slendy does seem to walk slowly. But surely you don't think he's walking everywhere. This far in the series I'm sure everyone assumes he teleports now. As for psychic attacks I do believe he uses them. Just like that other guy said, maybe he has to be so close to them where the effects actually start taking place. I actually like this idea that you have to be within a certain range for psychic powers to affect someone. The official stance on a Slendy attack usually seems to be tentacles/mind rape. It's probably one or the other or even both.

| That's the thing. From what we've seen, Slendy DOESN'T attack people. Just being near him for too long can kill you. Getting that sick that fast can't NOT be lethal eventually. | |

Tentacles? Not in Marble Hornets. He's been seen to drive people insane in this series and affect memory. Also, whenever one character is seen to attack another, he tends to be there. The Operator seems to be set on making people crazy and having them do his work for him. There is also slendersickness and visual distortion which is likely supposed to hint at radiation. Being near him is probably lethal if you do it too much.

So, basically...Slendy is a new type of drug. Sweet Zombie Jesus! The TTA videos make sense now. It's a really bad drug trip.

| Well I'm not referring to just MH here. I'm saying the general stance for Slendy where ever he may appear seems to be mindrape/tentacles. Although the radiation seems to be a good explanation too. Perhaps for MH it's radiation/psychic attacks? Psychic for making you forget memories and to generally brainwash you and radiation to make you sick? | |

Right, this is my new blog. Teenage stoner deliberately invokes the Slender Man because his stoner friends told him that you can get totally high man if you smoke him. He doesn't know how you're supposed to do it, he just believes it to be true. He tries to steal a piece of Slender's suit to smoke. He tries to scrape a bit of Slender Man off to put in his pipe. He tries huffing Slender Man directly. Most entries he's just too caned to do anything but laugh or sleep. A man in a mask turns up, behaving strangely. Who can it be? Oh it's just his friend who has that modified bong-gasmask, he wants to know if it's true you can smoke Slender Man Alright I'll stop derailing the thread now

Derailing? This is a completely serious theorizing discussion on the possibilities of drug uses for Slender Man and how to save the poor souls affected by this addiction, all you need to do is donate $20 and you can save their lives. Anyway yeah back on track, it definitely does show that it takes a heavy toll after constant contact. I mean Tim looked like hell, and it does raise the possibility for the Brian = Sinclair theory again since as pointed out: less weight means he easily fits the body build of Sinclair more now.God it's just like Lost, one question answered, several more raised. Troy and Joseph better not pull an "it's not about the answers, it's about the journey" on us.

I do believe Joseph uses that exact phrase in that radio interview they did. Eh, I'm not convinced that Brian is Sinclair, but they had to bring in his death for a reason. Maybe just to show how long Alex has been crazy, but maybe so that they can re-introduce him.

| Did anyone else think that when Brian was walking down that long corridor around 3:30 that Slendy would just come flieing through at full speed and tackle him when he reached the intersection to the other hallway. I know it's not his style, but they crammed so much apprehension into the video up till that point I seriously thought we were going to watch this guy get taken out.

| I never have anything particularly intellectual to say about the entries so I'll carry on that tradition with:
I FUCKING LOVED THIS ENTRY. It was just so perfectly creepy. I was genuinely scared by it which is... fun.

| I know everyone's been saying the same thing, but i've never been one to leave a dead horse without another beating.
It seems to me that alex is doing some of slendy's bidding, or is doing his own bidding(?) which involves killing or kidnapping people(?) I know it makes little to no sense, but hell, if i'm right (which is a rare occurrence), i'll do an irish jig...or something.

The giveaway for me was the crunching noises and pipes being moved in both entries as they walked. No, it really didn't have to be done. Just mentioning the entry would have been enough. Anyone wanting to follow up on it could easily go look at the video and see for themselves. That said, I'm not quite sure about it being the same location. Entry 22 seems like it's more in an enclosed area and 51 is more open - like an abandoned school. Then again, maybe it is the same location, but just filmed in different areas of the building.
