The Collective

I made this for future reference.

As far as I can tell, from left to right the members pictured are:

Mr. Scars, Cursor (A girl), Swain, The Observer, Slenderman, Firebrand (Sorry he's so hard to see), Persolus, and Deadhead.

And sorry for the horrible quality, the screenshots were taken at two seperate parts of the video.

Mr. Scars- Known by the Observer as "theonewhokillsmary" and "theburdened", constantly covers his face.

Cursor- "theselfish", apparently wears bandages over her eyes...

Swain- "thelover", I don't know how to explain that...

The Observer- He never refers to himself, so he has no name.

Slenderman/The Keeper- "onedividedbyzero(?) theadministrator"

Firebrand- "thestubborn", I actually have a picture of the face in the twitpic, with no hands...

Persolus- "thehermit", the twitpic picture just shows his silhouette sitting at a table.

Deadhead- "thenationalist", thus explaining his apparent nazism.

The Observer. All but confirmed to be Noah's friend Kevin.



Firebrand. I honestly believe he may be Noah from the future. His silhouette in some pictures resembles Noah's. The Collective exist in a realm where time and space have no jurisdiction, so if Noah is eventually taken, he could become Firebrand. It would also explain his reaction to seeing Firebrand in the hotel.



Deadhead. Seeing as he wears a hood and mask, there's no real way of telling his identity based on silhouette. We don't know much about him, so there isn't a lot to go on.



Persolus. I know that it seems Deadhead is stalking Karl, but I think Persolus might be Karl. Based on his picture, he's clearly older than the other members. He is also referred to by the Observer as "The Hermit," which, as far as we know, Karl is.



Swain. No real clue with this guy. Nothing known about him at all.



Cursor. The only female. Noah thinks she's either Mary Asher or his own mother. I'm leaning more towards his mother as Mr. Scars is described as "theonewhokillsmary"



Mr Scars. No idea, again. Nothing known about him aside from the fact that he's apparently going to kill Mary.

Firebrand being Noah would make sense, really. Firebrand is "The Stubborn", according to the Observer, and that trait fits Noah rather nicely...

Someone on unfiction posted this and I thought it made the situation a bit more interesting.

I rewatched some of TribeTwelve's videos today. Not confirmed yet, but I think Cursor is definitely Noah's mom.

Look back at the video interview with his parents. End of the video, Noah makes a statement about having a headache.

Noah's mom replies "If you have a headache, take some Excedrin."

Noah doesn't take it.

Forward to 3 days ago. Valentine's Day Livestream.

Noah takes what he believes to be Excedrin, which we then find out, isn't. He's drugged, and taken by The Collective.

His mom wanted him to take the Excedrin. Why? So The Collective could reclaim him. She's Cursor. She has to be.

I dunno, maybe I'm thinking into it too much, but that seems to deliberate to be coincidental.

Certainly not considering the depth of slendervlogs. Something else we could also perhaps consider is that maybe someone like John Fletcher or Noah's dad being Mr. Scars, for John Fletcher it could be a sort of revenge thing(for killing him.While Fletcher may be dead, the collective isn't really constricted by time or space, so the possibility is there . Noah's dad being his mom convincing him(as Mary seems to be in conflict with the collective).

Okay, insane theory coming this way:

What if the Collective are 'people' that are all affiliated with the target of the session in some way, and after that session is over, a new Collective is made up while the old is tossed away? I remember the Observer saying at some point that after his session he'd disappear.

Minus the keeper who starts the sessions perhaps? This seems like an interesting idea, that they would keep people around until the session is complete and once complete start up a new collective for that particular session.

I think the Administrator is constant; he's the one who sets up the 'games'.

You realize this is sounding more and more like a Tarot Card deck?

I think Swain being known as 'The Lover' might be sarcastic, as in he is the most brutal and violent of the group. Maybe.

Hopefully he, and the others will do stuff soon.

Observer is cool, and always has been but I want to see the rest of The Collective in action.

I was reading a philosophy/psychology analysis book about the collective subconscious and archetypes, and I found something rather interesting. It said that there was some sort of collective subconscious that all humans had within them, and we interpreted things pretty much the same. For instance, thousands of years ago people thought the Sun might be some kind of god, right? Well, it's not just some people - a little bit of everyone identified these natural signs as something grander.

So, I tied this to Tribe Twelve because of the term 'collective.' This book said that these symbols had existed since man had existed, right? Well, the Observer claims that the Collective has existed forever, and the titles/chess pieces given to members of the Collective come off as symbolic to me. I also remember the Observer saying that he wears glasses because that form was what people saw him as, or something like that.

What if this Collective that is going after Noah is like this collective subconscious I read about? That could mean that the Collective's 'form' is interpreted differently, but the same attributes are seen... If that makes sense.

Noah tweeted that a month ago. I think that all but confirms that John Fletcher is Mr. Scars. We already know that The Collective have no concept of death. It would be easy to take a body that was shot in the head. Maybe Mary shot John believing it would kill Mr. Scars. He repossessed his vessel, and now is going to kill Mary. Again that explains Mr. Scars' title of "theburdened" as it's John's burden that he has to kill Mary.

Also, I'm pretty sure a bullet wound to the head would leave a scar. Mr. Scars. Yeah. Just sayin.

A friend of mine came up with this theory.

Is it possible that Firebrand is a past criminal? Splitting his name up as "fire" and "brand", maybe he was branded for a crime he committed some time ago. Knowing that cattle prods are used to burn labels into skin, maybe that's what was done to him so he would be labeled for his crime.

That's probably more probable than my prediction.

Since there's no time or space in slendermans realm, I know this is going out on a limb but, I think Firebrand is Noah's FATHER. Judging by Noah's reaction, it's quite possible. Like I said this is pretty much a epilectic tree, but I think it could work.
