How do you view Slenderman?

We all view Slendy differently. Some of us fear him while others think he's amazing. How do you see him? If you met him in the woods, what would you say/do?

I find him frightening and mesmerizing. If I were to come across him, I would most likely ask him where he came from and why he does what he does...that is, if he can talk.

If I could run, I probably would, but it would also probably be futile.
However, if I couldn't run, I would gladly serve as a proxy.
Or just get ripped to shreds. I'm up for anything really.

Running would most definitely be futile. I would stare.

Whoa? There shan't be anything wrong with a creatively-defiling set of mind. I mean, what can I say? There are plenty of people who'd use Slendy's wooden appendages as artsy additions to their mortuary of morbid masterpieces.

Wow, if I just randomly walked through the woods and saw Slender Man stand there, I'd RUN FOR MY FAFFING LIFE. Because I'd be so schocked to actually see him, hallucination or what, because I know he's not real and that's what would be so scary in that situation. Although that would be quite cool. I'm not really scared of him normally, but I know that if I saw him, I'd run and be really scared, because I know what he could do. And, how I imagine he'd really look like... Well there are so many versions of him (tall faceless guy with normal propotions, or just inhumanly shaped monster with tentacles our of his back) I think I view him as he is in my picture, a kind of a mixture of the two. Because that one I drew. Yayz.

id start filming a slendy vlog, it would have incredible graphics. Yet people on youtube would still say dumb stuff like, oh man, that was terrible editing or FAKE

I'm not sure whether curiosity or common sense would win out . . .

I'm sure none of us are totally sane. I'm completely irrational when it comes to fear.

I think he's something that's lived too long and has either become or always has been devoid of compassion or respect for others. His habit of driving his prey insane probably doesn't occupy him in a humorous way, but more of a sporting way.

In the same boat. I'm also curious about what would happen if someone didn't react to him with immediate terror, such as just treating him like a fly on the wall. Would such a reaction intrigue him or piss him off?

That's an interesting thought. I wonder this as well. How exactly would he react to someone not being afraid? It might freak him out if it's never happened before. Then again he is the Slenderman so I doubt he would get freaked out.

If I saw Slenderman? Hmm, I'd probably take a few seconds to analyze the situation, approach him and offer him my terms of service.

I'd rather be a proxy as well. Serving my favorite monster would indeed be interesting.

What, you mean like all those stories back in ye olde days when people didn't cop out of writing real horror by claiming that merely looking at him was terrifying?

The answer is he would rip out their organs and hang them up from a tree.

Because Slender Man loves him some extreme Christmas tree decorating.
