| I live in NC. Lots of trees, parks, forests, etc. everywhere, but specifically near my house I selected the "a few trees" option. | |

| I myself do not live near a forest. But my grandparents live right next to the woods on the outside of town. I like to go out there at night. | |

| A couple times, whilst walking through the woods that used to be near my house (Since cleared away for new houses), I had thought I had caught Glimpses of Slender Man, but it was just the shadows of the trees, casting odd shapes. | |

| I used to live in a wooded area that included a huge pool that had green, rotted water in it. It was like some Slenderman/BEN DROWNED crossover set. I regret not using it when I had it. | |

| I do not live by many trees, but my brother in law's Mom did for a long time. She had acres and acres of land in literally the middle of nowhere. She practically owned a huge part of the forest in the small town she lived in and I stayed with her one summer for one week. They did not have electricity or water, you had to get logs to burn for the fireplace from the forest, so every day and every night I had to go into the forest multiple times . Needless to say, not many things are as scary as the strange sounds of the forest at midnight while knowing you only have a flashlight to help you see. Thank God that was before I found out about Slender man, otherwise I would have probably run back home screaming...... | |

| I lived in a heavily wooded area when I first got into the Slenderverse. There are still copious amounts of trees out of my apartment's patio door and are quite scary at night. | |

| I live smack dab in the forest. Imagine how terrified I was when I first heard of him! I get much sleep for weeks. | |

| Live out in the backwaters, in one of those sub-division that they decide to place in the heart of wilderness. You know those little pockets of suburban civilization completely surrounded by a sea of pines and otherwise isolated by a 10 minute drive to anywhere and 20 minutes drive to any nearby town. So yeah, it's like a jungle out there was most appropriate (at least in the summer).
While I've had more of a creepy feeling of those trees after marathoning the "Friday the 13th" films on Netflix (and realizing that there's also a sleepy campground just down the road...) I have gotten home late at night with fog about and looked more than once, mainly out of nervous anticipation (thanks overactive imagination!) in case I were to spot a tall slim figure amidst those trees.
It's just one of the charms of living out in the woods. I love it. | |

| I live in North-East Scotland, and there's a forest about 70m from my house. What makes it super-spooky is that the trees are bare most of the year, the outline always faintly sticks out whenever the thick fog sets in (thank you british weather) and there's a house light barely visible at night which makes it look like slender man's standing there with a body of tree branches. At least I have the beach right next door though | |

| I live in a pretty heavily wooded part of Florida, I'm already afraid of being outside at night to begin with so the slenderman mythos don't really help that. | |

| I live very close to the everglades, and it's a mix of forest, marsh, palm trees, jungle, etc. but mostly swamp. That being said, the bugs at night is scarier than Slender Man to me. | |

| There used to be a little forest really close to my house, probably a 6 minute jog to get there. It was small, but nice. I first visited the forest last year, and I loved it. Walking through the forest was always calm and peaceful, and whenever I was in the very middle of the forest, it was always really quiet. I felt alone in the world, and I personally loved the feeling. Some days after school and on the weekends, I'd go there to explore and hang out. I even filmed some stuff there for my webseries, EmeraldSky47. I also had several other ideas for horror and sci-fi films I could shoot there. At one point, I stopped going to the forest because I was very busy with school. I hardly had any free time to film anything, let alone visit a forest. In March on Spring Break, I finally had a chance to visit the forest again; it had been several months since I'd last gone for a walk in the forest. I was horrified to discover that my forest had been fenced off and torn down by bulldozers. That was easily one of the saddest days of my life. My once secret getaway was nothing but an acre or so of dirt and rock. Those bastards are probably going to build yet another slew of apartment complexes. Despite this, there was still a little bit of forest left. I'd say about half of it was cut down. Yes, I still had another half of forest left, but at what cost. I fear that the rest of the forest will be cut down one day. I hope that day never comes. | |
