Jack walked out of the alley he had been sleeping in.
'Another day then' he grumbled as he strolled down the street. 'remind me exactly who is here please?'
'the balanced, the scourge and... others'
Jack rubbed his face in exasperation.
'and you cant tell me because paradoxes eh, "compiler"?'
'no. what we saw in his realm was not the future, just potential. that potential is becoming realised.'
'so why can't you tell me?'
'it would change the potential which is not possible because we have already seen it'
'sooooo, what your saying is... paradoxes.'
'no'
'you make no fucking sense you know that?' jack told him
'well we are insane'
'true, true.'
he kept walking.
'so where do we go?'
'they're in this town as is he'
'do you have anything more substantial?'
'you know the answer'
several moments passed.
'your a real dick sometimes, you know that?'
The knight, tired of this conversation comming up again quickly spoke:
'i would advise that we hold a position in the town, out of sight and see them before they see us. then we can decide whether or not to make contact.'
jack thought about this.
'well we have already tried to make contact with lots of other and that's failed, the isolated, the cursed, the discoverers, the fools, the theives, even coyote. why would this be any different?'
'i don't know. why would you drag us here if you didn't want to try?' the knight asked.
jack sighed, knowing that he had won. 'OK knight. we will wait for them in an alley.'
He settled in and handed the knight the reigns.
'you can control us too since this was your idea. i'm going to try and get some proper rest in here, not that thats ever going to happen.'

Scourge nodded and said sure to Nyx. As they walked into the room Faust shot up from his sleeping spot, and Jason reached out his hand to comfort him. Jason started talking, but Scourge was not in the mood to listen to the normal people. He'd found someone who was like him, right?
-Nyx, how do you think we exist? I mean are we spirits of dead people or just simply dark sides?-

While Scourge was talking to Nyx, which strangely Faust couldn't see either of them, Faust smiled up to Jason and clasped their hands together.
"Sure, Jason. I think we got off on a kind of bad note too, since that was one of the more dark and disturbing chapters of my life."
Faust looked down at the food, pulling his hand back. "Thank you Adyna," He said, bowing, "I am quite hungry. It's been a... long night."

Faust looked out the window and saw the rising sun. A tear traced a path down his cheek.
It truly was over.

After eating his food and managing to get Adyna and Jason out of his room, Faust went out to the hall and into the bathroom. He had his bag with him. He closed the door and set his bag down, looking into the mirror. He stared into his pale, yellow eyes, and shivered. He never could get over how cold and analyzing they were.
He reached into his bag and pulled out what looked like a shampoo container, and he poured some purple goo into his hands. He then started rubbing it all into his hair and spreading it around. After two minutes of this he stopped, checking to see if he'd done it right. He had.
He washed his hands and got out another vial, one with a thick see through goop in it. He slowly started to spike his hair up with it, like he did any other 2nd Thursday, when he finished and looked in the mirror.
He liked the way it looked. Much nicer than he normally looked, which lately had become cold and distant.
He quickly got dressed in a blue t-shirt, brown jeans, and black socks. He looked in the mirror again and saw a thin teenager who no one knew.
Perfect.
He walked downstairs with all his things in his bag, not sure where to put them, when he saw Kat sleeping on the couch. He sat in the chair next to her and put his blanket around her, like he had done in his dream.
His dream.
Faust looked at her, noticing how small she seemed, curled up. He slowly started petting her head, not realizing he was once again crossing a social line. He was only thinking how much she reminded him of a friend, a girl, and a person.
A soul.
And a cat, he admitted.

Jason came wondering out of the kitchen with some eggs on a plate. "Hey man" he paused to notice Faust's new look. "Interesting style you got there." he said hoping he wouldn't come off as sarcastic. "I hope you like eggs." Jason handed Faust the plate of scrambled eggs. "So about what happened back at your house when we first met.... What was that?" an uncomfortable feeling peppered his words. "While you're at it why don't you tell me about yourself."

Faust smiled at him.
"Thanks, it's my own tradition I made. Anyway, back there... I had to do what I had to do. My father has a lot of weapons, and I couldn't really tell anything as to what it is/was, so I just did my best to protect you." Faust picked one of the larger pieces of eggs up with his thumb and index finger and ate it quickly.
"As to the latter I be just who I am, just who I want to be. I guess when i'm not depressed I can be quite bubbly, or so I've been told, and I also like cats. I used to have a kitten, back in Germany, but my parents threw it out on the street when we left. Also, I've been told that I seem quite cold and analectic, which somewhat surprises me, but not really."

Scourge stood next to Nyx, continuing their conversation.

( 1. Sorry, been busy all day with chores, grocery shopping, and filling out/submitting job applications. 2. Idk) -Hmmm... I'm not really sure what we are. I know we're probably not spirits, at least not fully, because spirits are about the only things, besides priests and exorcists and stuff, that can harm other spirits and, while both me and Kathleen can see the spirits, I cannot touch touch them. That's what scares both me and Kathleen, we can't touch the spirits, but they can touch us.- She said solemnly. -By the way,when Kathleen passes a graveyard, she gets really tense but try's to act normal, that's because she can see them. And once they know she can see them, they latch on to her and follow her around and stuff until either they finally get bored of her and leave her alone, or she hires a priest or exorcist to make it go away. Normally, the spirits are simply mischevious and annoying, pulling little pranks on her all day long. However, there have been a few cases where she has gotten an angry or violent spirit following her. I always hate it when that happens because i feel so useless. That's the one enemy I can't help her against. I can't do anything against them.- Nyx explained sadly, going over and sitting down on the couch beside Kathleen, phasing through Faust's arm. -But, I also believe we aren't just their dark sides, otherwise we wouldn't have a stream of consciousness of our own. I wouldn't be able to be awake and moving around while Kathleen is asleep if I was merely her dark side. I believe we are in between. We are souls that were placed in a body that already had a soul in it. We are the admittedly much darker, stronger soul that protects the weaker, innocent soul that was already there, however we are not ghosts or spirits because while we are not simply part of another person's soul, we do share one singular body with that other soul, and since that body is not dead, we are still alive and simply astroprojecting, sending our spirit outside of our body, and not spirits or ghosts. I believe our 'light' side could also do this, but only while we have control of the body they would leave behind and it would take them a lot of practicing. However, both souls should never, EVER astroproject at the same time as that is very dangerous and a malicious ghost or demon could take the empty shell of your body as it's own and you would never get it back.- she said/warned. Kathleen relaxed and purred in her sleep, unconsciously leaning up into the touch.

(Man, it took along time to type all that up on my phone...)

While Faust watched and listened to both conversations, Scourge replied.

-I understand your need to protect her, I feel the same about Faust. But what if we're not just dark sides? I mean, what if we actually have good in our heart? And for a long time, I have not been able to do anything physical either. But for some reason in the most extreme situtations I am capapble of it. It intrigues me...

Faust notices Kathleen purring and leaning into his touch. He then realizes that he has crossed a social boundary, but is not sure what to do. He can only think of one thing.
"Good kitty?"

-We aren't completely dark. We are simply 'darker' then the other soul in the body, generally speaking. And in extreme situations I just take control of the body. There's never been a dire need for me outside of the body to do something physical.- She said. She chuckled at Faust's statement. -Don't worry, Kathleen is a very liberal and 'loose' person. There aren't many social boundaries that she actually follows or cares about outside of when she's with her family. She won't mind at all.- she said. -Though I feel I should inform you that she's a lesbian.- she added as an afterthought. (Mobile version of this site sucks. It doesn't show that bar at the top of the screen with the profile, homepage, log in/out, and inbox buttons so navigating this site is hell and I CAN'T access my inbox at all...)

(Hey guys this is going to be my last post for about a day and a half, I'm going on a bit of a vacation and will be back late Wednesday. After this post I'm trusting Jason over to you guys until I get back. Please don't kill him or something like that. Have a good time guys see you Wednesday night.)

Jason heard a faint voice coming from the other side of Faust. "Hey did it just get colder in here or is it just me?" Jason walked over and waved his hand in the air where the cold spots were. "Faust do you feel cold?" he said confused. "Something is here I can feel it." Jason whispered to himself.

Jason leaned into the space in between where Nyx and Scourge would be. As he leaned in it would become apparent to Scourge and Nyx that a rather evil looking form was rising out of Jason's back. The figures wore a white mask with piercing red eyes and sharp toothy grin drawn on it . Around its body was a black tattered cloak. The figure was bound in changes.

"You there....Scourge was it? Get me out of these changes and I will tell you all you want to know about what you are." The figure said in a tired raspy voice. "Come now boy don't be shy." he said enticingly.

Faust hears what Nyx says through Scourge, then he feels quite awkward because he still has no clue what to do. He coughs and stands up, not bothering to finish the eggs, and decides he wants to do something about the some how forgotten Bunny-man (How the hell did I make you forget, Neko?).
Scourge see's this new one, this stranger, and he smiles. Not in a happy way.
"You, my dear little man, are not in a position of..." Scourge realized the stranger was offering something Scourge already thinks he understands. Scourge smiles, then places his hand on a lamp.
"I forgot to tell you I am still currently capable of using physical essence. I gained some more energy and right now, I'm deciding something..." Scourge goes back into His and Faust's body and takes control, explaining quickly to Faust what is happening. Then Scourge/Faust reaches into the bag and grabs a peculiar looking item. They place the mask on their face, ignoring Jason.
"You, my dear deluded friend, are not the only one here with issues." The sound through both mouths comes out like shattering ice, the result of evil.

//I realized that I've just influenced this role-play harshly, applying what I think could make for a wondrous story. Perhaps it's not so bad the slender man is not here...?
Rainbow look at general roleplaying, not slender role-play, I made a new one based off of an Anime called Death note.\\

Kathleen yawned and streatched, starting to wake up since Nyx was much closer and thusly not draining nearly as much energy. She streatched forward, arching her back like a cat as her shoulders, elbows, and back popped and cracked. Adyna came up and sat down beside Kathleen, on the other side of the couch as Nyx. "You know, if you streatch a mile, you're gonna have to walk back a mile." She said. Kathleen giggled, then both of them looked over to see what the commotion was. "What the heck am I looking at here?" Kathleen asked with a raised eyebrow. "I'm not entirely sure... Maybe it's some kind of semi-normal boy thing..." Adyna replied. (I know what deathnote is and the basic plot, but I've never actually watched it...)

/ROFL SEMI-NORMAL BOY THING? WHAT THE HELL? Also I haven't watched it either, I just have the movie, a portion of the first manga, and a lot of information on it.\\

Faust looks over at Adyna and Kathleen while Scourge exits the body.
"Err, uhm, hi. We were deciding who had the most issues. Were at a standoff, and neither of us can decide," He said through gritted teeth.
He took them mask off and looked out the window, noticing a humanoid figure off in the distance, but it's too hard to tell what it is. He chooses ignorance.
"Two things. One, I think we should work on this Bunny-man thing. Second, notice anything? Anything particular or strange?"
Scourge chuckles at him, seeing his attempt to point out his eyes and style, and turns to Nyx and Jason's strange personality.
"As you can see, Faust likes putting himself in awkward situations. He likes to test his own cunning and intellect, as well as play games with friends."

-haha, well, that does make life interesting... He should try meeting Kathleen's parents, she's a completely different person around them (or at least she pretends to be a completely different person), and it's basically awkward city all the time.- Nyx said. "Other than the fact that you look like an awesome anime character?" Kathleen asked. "Yeah, by the way, I've been meaning to ask you; where did you get those awesome contacts? They're so cool!" Adyna asked, having assumed the odd yellow color was due to colored contacts.

(That's way more that I know/have seen, but I could give it a try if you really want me to)

(Yes I would very much enjoy it if we (and others) could play a game of intellect and yet a sophisticated brutality)
"Thank you for the compliment...but these aren't contacts. I was born with these eyes. They said it's something in the tissue, but hey? Who really cares? Anyway, I still think we should work on this Bunny thing... it bothers me that you could be in a situation currently that is beyond mortal affairs...well, ordinary affairs." Faust sits down, a slightly sly smile crossing his lips.
"Also, perhaps now is the time to launch an offensive against the Der Ritter? I think so. You'd be surprised at how well I could do in..." Faust trails off, realizing nothing but stumbling on perhaps a clue. But he's not sure.

Scourge smiles at Nyx.
-perhaps it would be good for Faust to get to meet people, because of the protective, yet fragile shell he's placed in between himself and others. I hope that one day he will be able to feel comfortable around others. Even if he seems so right now, he most likely is not. He has learned how to use his older persona from when he was younger to protect his feelings and spirituality, but in the end he is still...alone.-

(Yeah, sorry, every time I start to get some free time and start posting my parents come in and are like 'No, before you have any free time, you have to do these chores, fill out job applications (petsmart application-longest application i have ever seen in my life! i was working on that thing for hours and still didn't get it finished! I have to finish it today...), and call the places you previously put applications into to check up on your application and make sure they have it.' -.-) Nyx smiled. -Being here will be good for him. Both Kathleen and Adyna are very open and accepting people. There's just something about them that makes the people around them want to open up to them.- she said. "Wow! They're seriously your real eyes? That's so cool!" Adyna said. "Yeah, all the awesome anime characters you could cosplay as... And you wouldn't need to buy those ridiculously expensive contacts...." Kathleen said, drifting off as she made a list of all the characters she knew that had yellow eyes. She shook her head to clear those thoughts and get focussed again. "Yes, the bunny... Man... Thing, I don't really know what it was, but it was scarier then Slenderman mainly because we know slendy's weakness; iron. However, we don't know this bunny thing's weakness and it's a very powerful entity. It even temporarily dispersed two slender beings at one time! This thing is dangerous." Kathleen said seriously.

"Once again, thank you for the compliment. And like I said yesterday, he could be killed by burning all of his previous bodies. But I certainly see what you mean... but Der Grossman, on the other hand, we know his weakness. We can try to launch an offensive, trying to show him that we are not afraid, and that the forces against him will always be strong." Faust blahs.

_Oh I hope so,- Scourge whispers to Nyx.
-I hope so...-

"Yeah, I think that would be good. Attacking Slendy would be the easier and smarter option of the two that we could choose to attack." Kathleen said. "Yeah, especially since we don't even know how many bodies we have to find yet for that bunny man..." Adyna added. -What do you mean by that?- Nyx asked.

-You don't know how bad it is for him. He's been alone over ten years. It's been harsh for him. He just...he pretty much gave all hope away for the confinements and numbness if hate.-

"Well, if we can get an approximate location for his last encounter and what happened, we should be able to find him, no?" Faust pulls his legs up to him in the chair, and starts tilting back. He feels the chair start to fall and quickly pushes off, doing a little spin and landing on his feet. The chair lands three feet from his big toes.
"Ta-da! Now, I'll go see in town what's been going on," And he turns to look for his shoes, which he completely forgot where he put them.
"Scourge, you can stay here I gue-" He realizes only him and Kathleen know about Scourge.
"Err, sorry, talking to my imaginary friend."
