| After all, we are in 2013 and they are still using tape-based camcorders? I mean, yes at first they were filming a movie and what not, but why exactly?
Of course, it is not like this is the mind blowing ending or something, the reason they use these cams, but I was just wondering...
I guess it is easier for them or something... oh well... | |

| Yeah, it's always seemed weird to me that they used tapes. And I'm pretty sure that Jay still uses tapes for his recordings. That would mean that in every new entry, Jay would have to take the recorded tape, convert the footage to a digital file, and then upload it. Maybe it's just Jay's thing to use old equipment? | |

| In my school's video production class, we use DV tapes as well. It's like recording music on tape, it just seems better. I use an HD hard drive camera and you can totally tell a difference between that and the HD DV cameras at school. | |
