Wesley finally watches Tribe Twelve!

...Yes. Obviously I'm leeching off of Vivi's success with VFWMH. But hey, I'm gonna be watching Tribe Twelve anyway, so I figured I might as well add some commentary.

In Memory of Milo Asher

-If this channel's original purpose was to showcase your project, why is this the first video?
-Oh.
-Well that was rather lazy.
-Troubled...by slenderman?
-ABDUCTED by Slenderman?
-A PHONECALL from Slend- Oh, Milo's mother.
-KILLED by Slenderm- Oh no, drugs.
Overall: Boring. Next video, please.

Oh, so I suppose the previous video was just an introduction? Well, let's start this...

-Fist bit of distortion, how exciting!
-Nice house this guy has.
-Bad acting holy crap.
-This distortion is just insane.
-Operator symbol!
-Cough!
-Terrible, terrible acting. Oh my god.
-Ohman, actual distirtion on the TV? That was actually pretty neat.
Overall: I really loved how they put distortion in the Television set. Don't think that's ever been done before. Narrator guy is an alright actor (EMH tier), but holy god Milo's bad (Slendernation: The ARG tier). I must say, they really dove into the whole Slenderman bit. Not much suspense. Operator symbol, Cough of death, and a possible 0.5 sec shot of Slendy all in the same (second) submission seemed to be shoving it down our throats just a little. Well, onto submission 2!

-Yep, Milo's definitely getting stalked by Slendy (as if there was ever any question).

-This is actually some of the best distortion I've ever seen in a Slender series.
Overall: From this point forward, I will be calling the narrator Captain Obvious. You can probably guess why.
Anyway, what this series lacks in acting, it makes up for in special effects. Onward!

-Oh, a tower. Becasue we've never seen THAT before.
-Oh my god, it's so nice to see distortion that's actually believable.
-Aaand operator symbol.
-Slenderman!
-WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON

Overall: The acting wasn't so bad in this one. I still think they're shoving the Slenderman mythos down our throats, but not as much as they were. Also hot damn, maybe we only saw him for a little bit over a second, but that was one nice-looking Slenderman. Tribe Twelve is certainly the most aesthetically appealing Slenderseries I've ever seen.

Overall: Oh, Milo's bad acting is back. Thankfully there wasn't much dialog in this entry. This video had great creep factor, but nothing significant happened. NEXT!

Overall: Well, now Milo's gone. I'll probably be able to enjoy this series a bit more now without having to deal with his acting. Also that minute of crazy distortion was incredibly trippy...

Overall: Well, no new footage. But the captain now knows about Slendy, so things could get interesting in the next few videos...

Milo's Funeral

-Wait, was Slenderman seriously just standing in the back of the plane?
-Oh, I don't doubt that it was a suicide. A slenderman-induced suicide.


Overall: So not much happened in this one. I looked back, and it was not Slenderman in the plane.

Anyway, I've got to get to school, so I'll post more this afternoon.

Right around here after Milo's Funeral and from here on out, TribeTwelve make the series their own.

My Grandfather Karl

-Hmm... a German grandfather, eh? I wonder if we'll get into storied of der großmann?
-Man, this guy's grandfather has a really nice house too.

-Slenderman was an ally in WWII. Just sayin'.
-Or maybe not.
-So the Slenderman in this story is confirmed for invincible.
-You invite him to your house and then you get pissed at him and tell him to leave? He didn't even fucking do anything...

Overall: This entry was interesting, to say the least. I hope we do find out how Karl knew how Capt. Obvious was going to be in New York, and how he found his channel... Niox, I think you're right. This is definitely picking up.

-Well thanks for telling us that strange noises in your house at night aren't normal, Captain.

-Okay, this acting is actually terrible.

Overall: Over that almost ten-minute-long entry, the only significant event was the box. No slenderman sightings (so far as I know), and eight minutes of filler. I'm looking forward to knowing what is inside that box, however...

I hadn't even thought of it previously but I just love the idea of people watching ARGs with plenty of past video and giving VFW style commentary/analysis: so fun to read this type of thing from the OUTside looking IN! Also, I'm both flattered and tickled pink.

The only thing I might add is URL links to each video in each post title, Its awfully convenient, and I'll wager was a good chunk of why people hung around and read/re-read my thread.

Your thoughts echo mine upon my first watching through of TT, and your delightful idea to completely rip off VFWMH kind of makes me want to hop on this bandwagon later on....with EMH. Now wouldn't THAT be interesting? Anyhow, keep up the good work, and preferably stop having more posts than me, you jerk!

I'll have you know VFWMH wasnt even intended to be comical to begin with, but my natural comedic ability CLEARLY seeped in on its own. If that's what i was even shooting for, then my superior wit and humor would be most obvious. 8)
