| After spending an entire week doing nothing but reading Homestuck, I decided this forum needed a proper discussion thread for the topic. For those of you not familiar with Homestuck, here's a link. http://www.mspaintadventures.com/I'd provide a summary if i wasn't so god-awful at such things, so here's the article form wikipedia. - Spoiler:
The largest, most recent, and most popular adventure, described as "combining the themes and feel of EarthBound, The Sims, and Spore" by the author. The story follows four teenage children as they play a video game that brings about the end of the world, while exploring the game's cause and ultimate consequences. As in Problem Sleuth, the adventure is characterised by time travel, mystery and a complex, largely-undefined fictional universe. Unlike the previous adventures, which exclusively used GIF images for animation, this adventure introduced the use of complex Flash animations, some of them involving music provided by the comic's community. Several soundtrack albums have been released under Hussie's own
Let's try to keep spoilers inside the spoiler boxes when talking about major plot points and other such things, that is what they are for afterall. (Blargh, all of this is so un-professional)

| Homestuck's one of my major internet addictions. I spent the best part of two sleep-deprived weekends last May, I think, getting myself up to speed with basically the entire site and now I'm obsessed with its multimedia goodness. Still need to buy those records though | |
