(Nope, it's never to late)

((That is the point: while they cannot kill each other or be killed, they can motivate others to defeat each other. It'd be like, if Cthulhu could be killed: it just doesn't work or flow. That is why Luminen helps mortals resist his sibling, so they'll have a chance at survival. Survival is all you can accomplish when involved with beings like the aspects. Hence, why you don't see anyone killing slender

[[ But, Slenderman is going to die. Spoilers I know. Either way, some deaths among the ranks of the Aspects are necessary- besides, all that happens is that we invoke another spirit into the same role, so it's effective immortality of the aspect, just not of the spirit that is the aspect. ]]

((If slender dies, it invokes the belief that the unknown can be slain. If any aspect dies, it holds that even beings of the celestial ether, beings who have evolved to be above death itself or were not designed to die, are as mortal as the beings underneath them. That is the basis of the allure of Slenderman in the first place: an unknowable, incomprehensible being whose very presence distorts reality and who cannot be slain, only defeated in its games or stayed off until it gets bored and pursues others.

If you wish to proceed with that plan, go ahead. But I will not be a part of it, and I will respectfully ask that you keep the aspects out of this. I may not had come up with slender, but I did come up with the aspects. I don't mind if you add your own vegetables to the soup we re all making, but some ingredients need to stay or stay away.

Jason looked up, "Wait everything is....back to normal?" Jason looked at the cat like girl in his lap sobbing to herself, the pain he inflicted on her was gone. Just a smear of black faded ink was all that was on her forehead now. Jason smiled "Thank you Luminen, I knew I could count on you."

Jason hesitantly put his hand on the back of Kathleen's head and hugged her tightly. "Sssshhhh its ok Kathleen it was only a nightmare you're ok." Jason whispered comfortingly. Jason let out a huge sigh and thought "Please forgive me."

Jason sat there in the corner with Kathleen until she made a move. He was mostly expecting her to claw him in the face and run out the door.

Kathleen calmed down and slowly stopped crying as the pain went away and the adrinilin and fear wore off. She looked up at Jason, then slowly and shakily reached a hand out. "I-it's ok... I know it was not simply a dream, but it's ok. I know you were only trying to protect me and that was the only thing you could think of. I'm fine now." She said, being the forgiving person she is, which is also why it's very hard to get her truly angry and furious.

Jason reached out and grabbed Kathleen's hand. "Thank you." he whispered. He helped her up and led her to the couch "Here lay down." Jason grabbed a blanket from upstairs and laid it across her. "We're both pretty tired, so get some sleep I'll be upstairs if you need me. Good night Kathleen." He said as if nothing was wrong. Jason headed upstairs and just got on his laptop and surfed the web.

"Yeah... Ok..." She said, laying down on the couch. She looked out the window to where Luminen was. "Thank you Luminen..." She said sleepily. 'Tomorrow, I'm going to go out and try to find Slenderman... And that pretty lady that flashed through my mind...' She thought as she curled up and went to sleep, a blush on her cheeks as her dreams filled with mysterious, tall, beautiful woman.

[[ He's going to be killed by other Aspects. Either way, HABIT could also be said to be an Aspect of sorts. If you like, consider him the Aspect of Horror- or perhaps of Humanity. Either way, I'm afraid some aspects will die. No being is above death, IC or Not. However, as aforementioned, the Aspect does not- in some ways- actually die. Only the being that carried the Aspect. The Aspect could be considered some form of Spiritual Energy, and the body could be considered dispensable, or depletable. So as a compromise, the Spiritual Energy of Art wouldn't have been destroyed, but the body would have. The New one would be a different personality.

Slenderman MUST die. I did not ask for him to be made an Aspect. You did that without consulting me. Maybe there'll be a New Aspect of the Unknown, as in a totally new energy, but Slender Man MUST die. I am adamant in that.]]

Masky was eating some noodles by a computer, Skyping Robert((sage)) for more information.

"Proxy. I((Sage)) discovered substance useful in combating //Construct//."

"He's not a construct you know, he is... in a sick, twisted way, alive."

"//Construct// cannot be considered alive. Living beings generate sympathy- sympathy towards //Construct// cannot be allowed."

"I guess you're right there. What is this substance? And why are you so formal?"

"Substance generated from reaction involving the //Construct//'s skin, or clothing, and a chemical found within foam fire extinguisher. I discharged my fire extinguisher upon him once, in a fit of desperation, and he warped away, presumably confused by the blast and change of temperature. I recently returned there, and found an amount of gooey clear substance on the grass. I collected some, and ran tests. My last test was that I drew an operator symbol with the goo, and left it outside. When he appeared on the symbol, the substance caused him intense pain. I caused the fucker pain."

Sage began again.

"And if you must know, it's because then I feel official. If you want, I can be a bit less formal. I'll just call it Slenderman, like you, and call the Substance, goo."

"Whatever you want, Sage."

"I must go. I'm hungry, and Jay is taking the Core Theory party out for Pizza Hut, and then clubbing."

"Fair enough, Sage. Good evening." Masky turned off the PC as he logged out of skype.


"Well, James? What now?" He asked his accomplice- Hoody.

"I don't know man. We need substance, obviously, but it has too much power over us to get close without him realising ou-" Hoody stopped suddenly, and clutched at his heart.

"He's trying to- Oh... Oh God no."

"What is it?!" Masky jumped up, dropping his noodles.

"He wants me to attack them, with a group of the others." Then Hoody began to rave a little- a sign that his resolve was weakening, and The Slender Man's control over him growing.

"Why couldn't he send Rika? She's psychotic enough. Or maybe you? You're strong enough to lead them. They won't listen to me, they'll tear me apart! Slowly! With dull scalpels!" Hoody began convulsing slightly.


Masky ran into the kitchen, and brought out a pipe- made of Iron.

He then sprinted athletically back into the living room, and pressed the metal against the back of the now prostate Hoody's head, trying to break the connection.

Slowly, Hoody's senses came back, and he clutched as an Iron ring in his pocket for safety.

"James, where are the Proxies?"

"One league away. Masks on. They're armed with melee weapons, but they're beyond any hope of sanity now. No amount of pain will stop them- they have to be killed, or rid completely of his influence before they're worked into a frenzy. Not even a King's Defense can truly do that, and that'd still attract HABIT."

"How many, how fast are they moving?"

"Fast, they'll be there soon. I think between 4 and 8, but I can't be sure exactly... wait... Oh no..."

"What?"

"There's an Agent with them."

Agents are men and women who willingly serve Slenderman, thinking whatever about him, and joining him of their own decision. Now of course, they are bent to his will, but his will is also their own. In the event of Slenderman being destroyed, they'd remain loyal to him, and prove a problem for the Freed Proxies, and any of Slender Man's former targets.
As of such, they are considerably stronger than the Proxies- generally because they're more sane, and also because Slenderman takes care of them more so than Proxies. Proxies are unimportant, and not taken care of- allowed to degrade. Not usually to death, but beyond safe conditions. Slenderman takes special care with Agents to keep them fed and fit.

"I have to call Jason. Now." Masky stood up, leaving the Iron pipe with Hoody.

Which was a mistake.

Immediately, The Faceless' influence was upon him. It bore down on him with every step to his mobile, resting on the table by the couch not three metres from him. His steps began to shorten in length, and become weak, and without determination, but he pressed on. Masky was strong, and made it to his phone. There was also a stainless steel spoon on the table from his noodle-bowl, which he grabbed to ease the stress.

He dialed the number he'd gotten from working his way around databases and government surveys that'd been left unguarded that related to Jason, and soon got his way through to Jason's mobile.

"Come on... Come on! Pick up! PICK UP!" Masky shouted down the line.

((Then, as I said, I request you leave the concept of the aspects out of this. Go ahead with your plan, but I do have things to attend to anyhow, so, I'll exit now. No aggression is held against you or such, but, as you have your ground and ethics to hold, so do I. Best of luck with the rp everyone. I apologize for wasting your time.

(Don't leave The_Childs_Last_Light, I liked your idea of aspects, it made it more interesting and added a whole new depth to the roleplay...)

((Neko, while I'd like to, if estar won't compromise or fully grasp the alien nature of eldritch beings, such as not being bound to the mortal rules we are, then I have to respect that and act accordingly. As I previously stated, this rp is like a soup. You started the intentions, people brought the vegetables, and I came and helped by bringing a broth to bathe them in. Along the way, more vegetables were added like new aspects, and I accepted that. But the death of an aspect is, to me, essentially adding fecal matter to the soup and saying it brings more flavor. I mean no insult towards estar, for he has some good ideas, but while I was willing to concede certain ground, I won't on this.

As stated, killing an aspect is akin to killing light or darkness itself. They are not mortal beings, they are spirits who can take on physical forms, but are always themselves. Take Luminen: if he wanted to, he could come into being as a dragon or insect, but decides on a humanoid form instead, since his true form is intangible. Slender as well, could be a tree or a cadre of tentacles if it wished. The physical form means nothing, but the spirit always exists and as such, you cannot kill an aspect. Even then, killing slender erases the fear it inspires. Why didn't jay from marble hornets do it if it was possible? Because, since it is an eldritch being, it is not possible. You cannot kill it, you cannot trap it, only merely survive it. It'd be like going outside during a hurricane and shooting the air: futile and utterly asinine.

(I agree with you. I want this to be an ONGOING roleplay, so of course I like the idea of only being able to temporarily disperse the Slenderman, never kill him. I don't want the Slenderman to die because then the roleplay will be over. And I also agree that one of the key aspect of Slenderman that makes him so interesting and so frightening is that he can't be killed. If you find a way to kill him then it makes him seem more human; weak and voulnurable, and then that fear is gone.)

((Depends on the aspect, but pitch it, and I'll check it out. Nothing though like "aspect of humanity" or horror. Slender is the unknown, and the unknown is horror in its true form, so I see them as one and the same. And humanity is its own thing.

((Think of something more concrete. The elements need no aspects due to existing universally. Hope, unknown, nature (represented by the rake), etc. like, aspect of generosity or something.

Appearance: Wears a black cloak, as if a coat, black sandals, black hair, and blue eyes. Has a purple ring with the Japanese symbol for sorrow on his left hand.

Bio: Kanashimi is the Aspect of Sorrow, who has power to allow people to be forgiven for their sins which caused them said sorrow. Can also make it rain. Has the power of Feeling and Storms.

Hobbies: Think about his life.

Likes: Thinking, caring people.

Dislikes: Fighting.

Grade: Grade A aspect.

Kanashimi sat on the rock, thinking to himself. Suddenly, he felt that Luminen was annoyed. He disappeared, and suddenly reappeared in-front of Luminen. " What's wrong, my cousin? Is my rain bothering you? " Kanashimi asked. He adjusted his cloak, so it would hide his arms and his chin and mouth. He then stopped the storm, using his purple ring. He had also sensed a little bit of sorrow in the house. He would plan to have Luminen to tell him what is on his nerve, considering that Luminen cannot be annoyed easily. Kanashimi would then find the source of the sorrow.

Seeing his sibling, Luminen just smiles and waves gently
