If you mean the Beta kids aging so that they're the same age as the Alpha kids, I've actually been thinking about that. If Jade were to use her God-Tiered space powers to enlarge the ship, they could techinally cross over faster becuase they would be covering less relative distance. But I'm still pretty sure the age up is going to happen, otherwise crossing that space in exactly three years according to their current condition would be a pretty big concidince to swallow.

Jesus fucking christ I love Karkat so much.

He has a point, too, when Jack absconded he was heading straight for the Green Sun.

Well, we now that time doesn't function as reliably in the furthest ring (or wherever the fuck the Green Sun is) as it does for the rest of us, so perhaps do to time-fuckery, three years will have gone by when Jack has gotten to the asteroid, and all the god-tiers will be there to beat the hell out of him.

At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Well both Rose and Dave held their own against him before God-teiring, and Gamzee is apperantly just a powder keg waiting to explode, and Aradia can apperantly slow him down as well. So there could be an epic battle with Jack in the works here, but I don't see an epic final battle happening without Dog-teired Jade present.
