Entry 43 Discussion

Okay, skimmed most of the discussions, so if this has been brought up, I'm sorry.

This is before entry 27, is it not? My question is, why would Jay have this footage. Granted, you can ask the same question about why he has any of the footage, but specifically this video. Why would he have this?

Slendy wiped HIS and Jessica's minds (assuming that's what happened). Couldn't he have taken all of these videos too? Keep Jay out of the know, and even more lost.

I think Slendy has an agenda. He needs something from these people. We've already seen that he has some kind of contact with Masky (entry ######), so even if he can't get near the tapes, he has a guy that can.

I don't know, maybe we will just have to see for the future.d

I'm not so sure the Operator can physically 'take' tapes with him. I believe the only thing we've actually seen him interact with (besides humans) in this series is Alex's door. I think the tapes were a back-up plan of Jay and Alex after they realized that Slendy was coming after them. They knew from before that they had memory problems, so they probably put two-and-two together and began filming whatever they could, just to make sure they didn't forget anything. Putting them in the safe was probably a safety measure to prevent Masky from taking them. After all, why did Masky show up right when Jay was getting the tapes?

Wait... Grr. Marble Hornets can be so confusing...

Okay, so going back to the theory that Tim and Jessica were working together... What if during those seven months something happened between the two that made Jessica realize he's a bad guy? Maybe Tim is trying to make everyone forget about the Operator so they can all have a normal life - but the only way to do that is getting rid of the tapes and probably Alex/Jay. However, Jessica wants to know more, such as what happened to Amy, what the Operator is, and how Alex and Jay are connected to this. That's why she retrieves the camera in the park for them, and (if she's in a later video) joins them in the little 'investigation.'

So... Okay, bear with me here. I'm just writing out my thoughts at the moment before they go away.

Okay, so maybe Jessica was taken when she and Jay tried to leave - meaning the Operator got her. I don't see any reason why she would run, to be honest, and I don't think Tim could have kidnapped her because he has a hurt leg. I don't think Jessica was against Jay, either - if she is Sinclair, she was helping him in the park. Also, didn't Jay find his safe combination in her room? If she was working with Tim, she would want the tapes... destroyed, I guess (if we're going along the theory of Tim wanting everyone to forget about the Operator), so why would she have the safe combination?

Then again, if Jessica is Totheark (because it's looking more and more likely that Sinclair is TTA, and it's very possibly that Jessica is Sinclair right now), she's still alive. So maybe she was 'taken' somewhere by the Operator, or was trying to go back through Jay's door but ended up somewhere else due to alien geometries or something like that. "So much more than time has been taken" could reference Amy, as I think a few others have said on here.

Oh, also... It might mean nothing, but I was looking at the related videos on the latest Totheark response and Entry 32 is one of the top related videos. Wasn't Entry 32 the last one that featured Jessica?

It could be a clue...

One last thing. "So much more than time has been taken" could be a reference to Alex, too... if he's dead. Or it could reference to all of the other Marble Hornets actors.

I guess it really comes down to whether or not filming yourself is a good or a bad thing.

Lets say, for a minute, that showing yourself and slendy to the world, repeatedly, over the internet is a bad bad plan. Not only does it make the entire world learn and think about Slendy (Tulpa theory anyone?) but you are also repeatedly showing yourself, your location and your face to slendy. Furthermore, the more you upload, the more you are thinking about/dealing with Slendy and thusly, opening yourself up to getting attacked.

In this case: Wouldn't TTA be a bad guy here? He keeps telling Jay to film himself, he egg's Jay on, he gives him tapes. Alex as well, follows this. Right when Jay is about to give up, he gets a tape in the mail depicting Slendy. He gives Jay his camera. He promotes persuing, thinking about, and dealing with the Slenderman. Bad.

Whereas, to me, it's always seemed like Masky has been against these things. He hides his face from the camera, thus protecting himself from being seen by Slendy, he leaves a mask behind for Jay, and he attacks when Jay is close to film. First time he attacked Jay was when he was filming him, and in the house, with the Slendy doll. Then it was in the motel, right when Jay got the tapes (also, coming from Jessica's room, perhaps she's either in with Slendy, or had been attacked by Slendy and he was trying to protect her). Then he attacks Alex, running right past Jay, and goes for Alex with a knife (Alex, who, in this theory, would be a bad guy, or at least making stupid choices to keep bringing Jay back into the danger).

If Camera's are a good thing, than Sinclair is good, as he brings the Camera back. Alex is good because he keeps giving Jay cameras. And Masky is bad because he prevents these things. TTA, is really, still up in the air for that one though.

It really comes down to the camera for me. It would seem, to this point though, that Camera's are bad. They summon slendy, they make you think about him, they put you in danger. I know there are plenty of theories against it, but I really have to keep thinking that masky is a good guy, with odd ways of going about things.

Random point of note though, depending on what happens to Alex here, how does Jay get that chest cam???

Hi, got a question. I watched most of marble hornets/totheark vids but i dont know:
Who is "Sinclair"?

It's a fan-term for the new masked guy/girl who showed up in...Entry 41 if i remember correctly. since we don't know if he/she is TTA or not for certain yet, though the hints are clearly there, A user started referring to him as Sinclair, as is usual with Slender Man speculation...the fan terms catch on quick.

I think some other people have been calling him Russel too. Sinclair is the majority name though.

Only one person calls him Russel. Sinclair is the true glory of the masked wonder.

Just finished watching #41 #42 and #43. Absoloutely bricking it here...it's half four in the morning! I really need to watch from the star of this season again though i kinda lost track...though not till the suns up...see the spoiler for why xD

When I first started watching MH I was paranoid all the time. At night when I would fall asleep, I would wake up every five minutes make sure Slendy wasn't standing over me. I was literally afraid of slender man when I first got into MH. Luckily my fear isn't that bad now, going to work on 2 hours of sleep due to fear of slendy wasn't very fun at all. I love being scared to death like that, and with slender man it's like there's that the thought that maybe he is really real in the back of your head.

If I am really spooked by a slender man series, that's my way of knowing that the series it's self is good. My opinion is that Slender man is scarier on video, reading slender blogs and stuff doesn't creep me out as much as actually seeing slender man in the different series on youtube. I've always been more of a visual person.
