Slendie RP, Anyone?

Noticing the audio being cut off Slenderman invades the mind of a traveling cockroach inside the barrier absorbing the information being discussed with and invisible cockroach grin.

She sat up at Luminen's intrusion before relaxing and crossing her legs. She looked at him cautiously. "Yeah, sure."

"First, and foremost, I would like to apologize to you my dear. You should not be the focus of a tug of war between two opposing entities. You might think "Why me?", and I cannot blame you. But I assure you, I only wish the best for you. Your desire to fight against that fear is what called me to you, the hope for a better future." Speaks Luminen, smiling but obviously saddened as indicated by the tone of his voice.

Taking in a deep breathe, he continues.
"Unlike Slender Man, I won't implant directions or thoughts into your mind..." Looking down and staring at the cockroach, fully aware of Slender Man's presence.

"I will not force you to go a specific path nor will I become aggressive against you should you not heed me. I am merely here to offer my hand, in hope that I can, at the least, protect you from him. What he sells, what he presents before you with a crooked smile, is illusion and false dream. Unlike me, he thinks in a more...Alien thought process. He may lure you in with gifts and promises of joy, but you need to remember to think for yourself. What you decide to do, I will respect. Should you wish for me to leave, I will. That is the wonder of humanity: Your ability to think for yourselves and resist outside influence."

Luminen finishes, taking in a breathe of air before looking at the cockroach and sending a banshee scream through its ears, directly into the Slenderman. Making sure to render it silent to Hannah, so she does not get scared. The Slenderman may be able to listen, but while in this barrier, Hannah is safe from his mind-altering influence. As a double-edged sword, she is also safe from Luminen's ability to do the same, making the barrier only useful for sparse privacy.

John kept walking til he was odd the road Hannah's house was at, he kept walking til his feet were aching and he was shivering from being out in the cold. His hands were starting to shake from the shock of what had happened that night. He hadn't slept long, that nightmare woke him up. Or was it a memory? He needed to learn more, he'd go through the papers when he was at a safe location, safe enough anyway, his destination. He had the pistol up against his back, at least and the knife. He was safe, he was sure.

She nodded. "I have no idea why either of you are here, or why I'm so special to the Slender Man, but.. You know what? I don't seem to care."

Impulsively, Hannah leaned towards Luminen and hugged him tightly, unsure of what spurred on her actions. He was surprisingly pleasing to hug; a warm aura of peace seemed to drift around him, and he had the most peculiar scent. It reminded Hannah of sunshine and childhood. She breathed in his perfume, pleased to find something that seemed familiar in this chaotic mess.

Surprised by her act, Luminen takes a moment to react, but smiles and hugs her in return, happy that he can help her in the turmoil that surrounds her.

Hannah settled her head down on his shoulder, beginning to grow sleepy in his relaxing presence. He was like the brother she never had, and it was like she has known him for as long as she'd lived. Her thoughts drifted in John's direction, and she considered asking about him, but she didn't want to ruin the moment.

Still hugging her, Luminen gently strokes her head. Sensing her wandering thoughts, he smiles.
"John went to uncover what lies behind his amnesia. I'll watch over him as he treads his path, but I may not be able to protect him from Slenderman. What allows me to protect you is your willingness, and your hope of course. John doesn't seem to have that, and as such, is more susceptible to Slenderman."

She shuddered deeply. Images of John's snowy, crimson-splashed balaclava washed through her mind and she hugged him tighter, nestling her head further down. Her voice soft when she spoke. "I'm pretty sure that John can look after himself."

Your Ability to bend and manipulate people using hope does not and will not cease to amuse me trying to bend this child to your will you fool no one on the higher planes. The words appear in the air written in flames out of Hannah's sight as she hugs Luminen. While this appears to Luminen These words appear on the wall of Hannah's room in black "My child This being in your grasp seeks to destroy the delicate balance in the worlds he seeks to control you and pull you off the path of redemption onto the road to hell and perdition I seek only to help you while my ways may be bloody they keep the world in balance allowing the human race to prosper and turning them away from a bloody and fiery Armageddon.

Smiling, Luminen nods. "He is a capable lad. Still, I'll try to help him when I can. But for now, I am here for you" promises Luminen, continuing to hug Hannah

Hannah's eyes slid shut, refusing to read the message. It would be, no doubt, something telling her to not trust Luminen, and, as she wasn't in the right mind to detect good from evil, she decided to stay exactly where she was, drugged up on Luminen's aura. There would be time for that later. "Thank you," she mumbled.

Smiling, Luminen whispers "No. Thank you, for having hope" as he strokes her hair, snapping his left fingers and causing the messages to dissipate, knowing that Hannah is tired and not wishing for her to exhaust herself with the Slenderman's toying. With them gone, he silently forces the cockroach away, barring Slenderman from further audio observation.

Hannah yawned sleepily, letting go of Luminen briefly to smother the sound. She couldn't wait to curl up in her bed again, despite having left it only a short time earlier. She wondered if it was Slender Man's presence draining her. She realised that almost all of the fear she had for him had now dissipated, and that worried her.

Seeing her tired expression, Luminen stands up and smiles. "I'll go now, so that you can rest comfortably. If you ever need me, just speak my name and I'll arrive. But before I go..." Luminen closes his right hand and brings it close to Hannah, opening it and revealing a necklace, composed of a string around a sparkling crystal.

"This necklace was made back when I was a mere child myself. It will suppress the influence of all aspects, including myself and The Slenderman." Dropping it in her lap, he turns around and walks a bit "Sleep well Hannah." Smiling before fading out of Hannah's room.

Once gone, he fades back into existence, but this time next to Slenderman. "Do you wish to talk, fae?" smiling as ever, twiddling with his pocket watch.

"Good bye, Luminen." Hannah watched him go before turning her attention to the necklace in her lap. She lifted the crystal, studying its beauty, before eagerly putting the necklace on. It felt right around he neck, as though it belonged there, and the heavy crystal gave it a reassuring weight. Lying down, she pulled her covers tight around her and drifted off to sleep after only a few short moments.

Removing his presance from the roach Slenderman appears behind Luminen
"Call and i shall appear like a flash of mercury i shall be here. You call me fae but do you know what i truly am?" he asks dropping the guise of The Slenderman and appearing as a forest green male in a leaf tunic with root covered breaches I am the warrior of the black forest the lord of the lesser forest fae and the master of the forests of the world.' Slenderman Proclaims in a childlike voice rasping from disuse.

"Indeed I have, that is why I refer to you as such. I too have been alive for eons, hope was not a human invention. While their belief helps, I have existed before their ancestors slicked out of the primordial ooze. Neither will I die if they go extinct." relates Luminen

Checking his watch, Luminen smiles directly at the Slenderman.
"the difference between you and I though, is that my true form is intangible and I have to take a solid form to directly interact. That, and once the sun goes supernova in, oh 48 billion years, you'll be quite gone. I, on the other hand, won't."

"Your Ability to sense the truth is very disheartening if you are hope i fear the universe is screwed."Slenderman says as he Walks around the room.

John had been walking for an uknown amount of time until he reached a fence with a weakness in one corner. He remembered this place. He pulled at the fence and loosened it. He crawled under the fence on his back, only to slide down on a hill on the snow, he was outside an old apartment complex. No one had lived in it a while, it seemed. He sighed and made a face before getting up. Derelict building, great. Sure that tall guy will be there. He approached the broken down building, he made it to a broken and dirty window, about as wide as his waist.

"The truth, while cold, is unbiased. Hope shines bright in despite of it, acknowledging it but not letting it bog it down. The hope for a bright future is quite strong, and even now, I see that humanity will be quite safe in such an event. They will be able to construct viable space travel, alongside terraforming tech as well. With the aspects guidance, humanity was able to rise above the dark ages and into the renaissance. I, and the others, will continue to guide them and they will survive. "

Once John had said three Hail Mary's. He put his back right up against the wall, he was aware of the fear he was feeling but he was burying it. He put his elbow through the dirty window and then scanning the area for anyone, he cleared the glass from the frame quickly with his elbow so he didn't cut himself crawling in. He got up on the window sill and crawled inside the wet and wrecked apartment building, he was in a corridor.

Hannah sniffled quietly, pulling her covers tightly around her. This time her dreams were filled with pleasant things: her pet rats Noah and Domini sitting languidly in her lap; her aunt surprising her with a new piano; a cuddle with her father. These dreams were free of tall, suited men.

Louis gave a little jolt as his mobile vibrated violently against his leg: he'd been so caught up in the aura of powerful souls swirling through the house and forest, the beautiful colours and pulses rendering his actual physical eyes useless as his mind attempted to keep up with them, that he'd abandoned going after Hannah and the strange man, John.

He unfolded his lengthy legs, allowing him to pluck the insistent gadget from his trouser pocket. When he saw the caller ID, he frowned. What would Maggie want to be calling him about now? She'd normally be on her way home at this time.

With a little shrug, he accepted the call, supporting the phone with his shoulder as he adjusted his cuff-links absently. 'Good evening, Maggie, what is it?'

'It just exploded! There's nothing, no one; everything, lost,' rasped his PA, her voice cracking as she struggled to contain her sobs.

'What? What is?' demanded Louis, a small crease crinkling his forehead as he sorted through all the possibilities.

'The agency, it just went up in flames! The whole of a shift where in there! Oh, Louis, what do I do?'

Louis sat, glassy-eyed and breathless as the implications rolled over him. Only one thing would have such immense power, and be willing to sacrifice so many lives just to make a point. Slender Man, the devil. Louis' mind clawed for solutions, coming up empty just seconds later.

'Maggie, go home. Thank you for phoning,' Louis hissed, his voice icy as his knuckles whitened, accent thickening.

'But, Louis, the peop-'

'There's nothing you can do for them. Go home.' With that, Louis severed the connection, flinging the mobile across the room, and then burying his head in his hands. This is no doubt my fault.

When Hannah woke again, she felt fresh and rested. With a jolt, she realised that she'd left Louis on the couch alone. She got up and padded down the stairs, her fingers drawing through her hair like tines on a comb.
