Dream Encounters

There was a dream I had last night were I was stuck in the woods where Slender takes place. I had to tear the pages down and Slender Man stalked me just like in the game (not my first intro to Slender Man, by the way). But the weird thing is, I wasn't scared.

I was having nightmares the other morning and they ended with Slenderman stalking me and my coworkers through the place where I work. There are lots of high shelves packed close together so it can be kind of a maze. Also it was almost pitch dark accept for the light of one lone streetlamp outside.

I was hiding by the cash registers because the desk circles almost completely around. I could hear my coworkers screaming for me to help them and I was chastising them about splitting up in the first place and trying to get them to follow my voice.

Then I turn around and of course the Slenderman is RIGHT THERE next to me. Then something made me look down and I see that he's got a knife jammed in my stomach. And the last thought my nerdy ass has before I wake up is, "That's odd. Slendy doesn't use knives."

I was half awake this morning, looked out my window and thought I saw a really poorly drawn slendy outside. It was a bush >>

Well I know I dreamt something about the Slender Man... But I can't remember what the dream was about. DAMN IT. WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME. Always when i dream awesome stuff I don't remember what the dream was about, just that I dreamt about it ;c And I suppose it was because i sat up late yesterday and watched SAPH. Rigth before going to bed. And therefore thinking about it while going to sleep and therefore dreaming about it.

I'd really really really like to have a Slender Man dream again, the last "real" one I had (longer than 1 minute and with more happenings) was one year ago.

I've never had a dream about Slendy but I'm guessing I'm going to have one soon. I've been playing Slender nonstop for the last week and it's really stuck in my mind. What's weird about my dreams is that if I have a scary or strange dream, I don't remember it until much later when I see something that triggers my memory. For example, playing Slender reminds me of a dream I had a looong time ago.Iit was sort of like a video game where I had to go around and find stuff.

I had a dream this past week about hunting Slenderman with this guy I'd never met before. It didn't end well.

Ahh! Dreamt about Slender Man again. it happens quite often now that I'm constantly watching Slender series and drawing him etc etc etc. No not psycho-drawing him like the people in the series, actual art. Although it doesn't look like art. It looks like shit.

Ah but nevermind... I just realized the scenery in my dreams is usually VERY strange. This time I was on a large grass field with forest surrounding it. Above the field was several elevator-looking glass rooms moving around on a string/band/thing. You could climb up into them with a ladder hanging down from each one of them. I remember being in one of those with my friend and other people, and sometimes seeing Slendy standing in random other carts. It wasn't scary, which I think was very unfortunate. Actually a little ridiculous.. Bahh i hate these dreams.

Well I've had several dreams about Slenderman, most of which have just been silly and weird. Stuff like Splendorman's level of silly weirdness, nothing scary just weird.
I did have one that was scary though.

It began with me waking up on the floor in my basement in the middle of the night. Confused, I looked at the clock on our cable box and it was flashing at 1:47, which of course means that it was not the real time and the power had been out and came back on an hour and 47 minutes prior to me waking up. The lightswitch was not working for some reason. It was dark, and I've always been afraid of the dark personally, so I began to fumble around looking for anything that could function as a light, and the longer it took, the more I began to panic, and my breaths became short. Eventually I managed to find a little matchbox on the mantle above our fireplace and lit a candle that was on the coffee table. It was relatively bright and I began to make my way up the stairs to the front hall and I attempted to go out the front door because there are street lights out there and I could calm down, but the door was jammed shut, and as I turned around to go to the back door, he was standing there at the end of the hall in front of the back door. I fainted and the last part of the dream was images of a fire and him standing in the middle of it.

I didn't sleep for like three or four days.

I just realized I've dreams short little not-scary-but-with-a-creepy-feeling-dreams about Slender Man for several nights in a row the past week. The thing, is I was doing an experiment, involving me forcing myself to fall asleep earlier than usual and on my back. I usually don't sleep on my back, but when I do, I dream weird/scary stuff. And I wanted to have a real nightmare (don't ask me why) so I slept on my back that week, and had every night, a dream of Slendy, haha.

When I was 14, so about 10 years ago... I was sleeping in my bed and woke up out of a dream and looked at the end of my bed and there was someone standing there with a pale, no face look and what looked to be like a vintage suit. I went under my blankets and came back up and he was still there, the second time I went under and came back up he was gone. I always thought that was a ghost of some sort.

I later figured, since I am a lucid dreamer, that coming out of a dream mid-sleep and opening my eyes I hallucinate objects or people. So that's what it definitely was. But when I first saw slenderman in an arg it freaked me out because he looked so similar to what I experienced years earlier, and is now why I love the slenderman subject.

I have hallucinated people 3 times including that one. They always have a white ghost like face with no features but that was the only time it looked similar to slenderman because the suit.

about a year ago I discovered Marble Hornets. I quickly caught up on anything I missed and anticipated the next entry. Within the next couple nights i had two dreams that I still vividly remember. The first occurred in my own house, in which I saw slenderman in my backyard while my two younger brothers were playing on the swingset. I attempted to warn them but blacked out and awoke in my room with slenderman standing in my doorway. I then woke up.
One night between my two dreams I woke up on the floor curled up in a ball, covered in sweat and clenching my teeth, i tried to fall back asleep but my bed felt like a bunch of metal rods poking my back.
The next one was in my living room, i was pacing in circles worried about something, I don't know what, when I see movement outside my window. I get a flashlight and go out to the driveway and look both ways up and down the street when a hear a sound behind me, was a mix between someone clearing their throat and a door being slammed, i turn and shine my light on the garage door. there is nothing there at first but then a slenderman shaped shadow appears in the light on the garage door, I wake up at this point. In the dream I felt like it was my house and my living room, but I had never seen a room or house like that in my life.

I had a dream a few nights ago. It started out like most dreams, just random stuff from the day before and my life in general, but the part I remember clearly was sitting at a bus stop outside a school near my house reading a newspaper. First thing I remember was that the article was about Smile.Dog, with a large picture on the front page. I was a little freaked out at first, but then noticed the picture wasn't the "real" Smile.jpg. Then I looked up and saw Slender Man at the end of the street, a fair distance away. I quickly looked away, told myself I was imagining things, then looked back up. Slender Man was still there, he very slowly crossed the road and disappeared round the corner. I felt he was watching me the whole time. I was really nervous, trying to tell myself it was all in my imagination (which brought on thoughts that I might be going insane), when the bus turned up and I got on it. After that the dream dissolved into more randomness which I've almost completely forgotten.

That's the only clear Slender Man dream I can remember, and apart from feeling really creeped out in the moments after I saw him, and when I saw Smile.Dog staring at me from the front page, it wasn't particularly frightening. I'm certain I've had a couple more than that recently, but have no idea what happened.
I did have a scary dream the night before last which I don't remember at all, but it woke me up in the early hours and left me with chills until I went back to sleep. Slender Man may or may not have featured in that one.

I dreamed about the rake a few weeks ago..

I was in a forest running when I looked behind me I saw him he looked so real I kept running but then I fell and the claws got me it actualy did hurt thats how real it was since then i love The Rake

I've had a few dreams with Slender Man, but to be honest only one that had any REAL effect on me, and it's the most recent one (from early last month).

As a sort of backstory here before I begin, and this IS related, my family is a bit religious, believing in God and Demons and all that.

So in the dream, my dad, my stepmom, and my stepsister are walking through a wooded park with an open field in the middle -- we were in the open field at this point in time. Dad was asking my sister about how things were going since neither of us live with the parents anymore) and my sister revealed that she was being stalked by what she assumed was a demon.

And inexplicably, I came out with this: "Would this demon happen to be tall, skinny, no face, arms down to here?"

She blinked at me in surprise. "Actually yes," she said. "How did you know?"

Then I revealed that I'd seen it too (probably to tie in with the previous dream, which I admittedly don't remember anything about). And then as I looked around, trying to avoid her eyes the way I do with everyone I want to end a conversation with, I saw it.

It was standing across the field, out in the open, at the treeline, head tilted to the side as it watched us. If you guys remember the Marble Hornets entry where the Operator is watching the film crew and Alex goes over to him yelling, "Hey! Buddy!" the image seemed to have been ripped right out of that last shot.

It chilled me, and I deleted my copy of Slender: The Eight Pages and tried to divorce myself from the mythos for a little while as soon as I woke up.

I never had a dream about the Slenderman, but I once dreamt about The Rake, as mentioned by EaterOfWorlds. He was at the end of my bed when I awoke, and he whispered to me. I don't know what, it's a blur, but I remember him running away, toward my little sisters bedroom, like in the pasta. But unlike the pasta, when I got out of my room he was waiting. I went back to sleep after that extremely shaken, and had another nightmare, though it was completely unrelated. There was a big ass hole in the ground, with a few polar bears in it, and my brother was trapped in with them. I tried to save him and jumped what I would guess (from what I remember) to be about 100m to my death.

Fun night...

Wow i just had a horrible night...not quite slenderman, but... i had some nightmares about my ex-boyfriend (which i actually don't wanna tell) let's just say it wasn't very nice... Finally i woke up afterwards in my room, taking a deep breath when the door flew open and 2 masked guys came in like the ones in the dark harvest cult, so slendermans proxies came for me, pushed some handkerchief with chloroform over my face while i tried to scream, but naturally it didn't help...
Thats when i finally REALLY woke up in the REAL world...
a dream in a dream... I just hate my trollbrain...

My friend and I decided to re-watch Marble Hornets last night. All of it. In one sitting. She then had a nightmare she got caught by Slendy and was turned into a Proxy. And apparently her mask looked like Kafei's Mask from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Great, now MM reminds me of Slendy too. XD

I have only had one Slenderman related dream, and it wasn't really a nightmare so much as a weird dream. First off, I normally have very surreal dreams, to the point they can approach nightmare levels but don't feel like nightmares and don't scare me when I get up in the morning. Second of all, I very infrequently remember my dreams, so it's kind of a big, weird deal for me when one is vivid enough for me to remember.

Okay, so in this dream, I owned a big beautiful two-story house in a pine forest (I think it was a pin forest?), and when I say in a forest, I mean like DEEP in the forest, like right in the middle of it. The driveway, you would have had to drive through a long grove of trees to get there, it was gorgeous, a dream house, with lots of weird pretty rock formations and the like nearby, and a beautiful little natural waterfall not far away. Gorgeous. It was daytime in the dream and I was walking around outside. It was misty out but apparently warm because I was in spring/summer clothes. I was walking over by this weird zen-garden-looking rock formation, but with bigger rocks, and I find these papers stuck in the middle of them. I pick them up and look them over, but they don't seem to say anything of relevance. Not even any creepy, Came-From-Alex's-Notebook scribbles or anything, they were just blank with some ink smudges that were probably once words that I now couldn't decipher. I took the papers with me and walked around in the woods for a while, then I started to get nervous and for some reason thought it was getting dark even though it was still broad daylight outside, so I went inside (the house was kind of like a rustic Northwoods cabin feel inside, I always really liked that decor style). My boyfriend, whom I'll call D, is sitting on the couch and so I said hi, we kissed hello and we start talking. I don't recall about what, but I brought up the papers. D then remarks that the papers look familiar, and then he looks upstairs like he thought he heard something. I get curious so I go over to the stairwell and look up, but I don't see anything so I tell D to go check downstairs. At this point he went downstairs and then the lights switched off like we had no power, but it was okay because it was still daylight out. So D is downstairs, I look upstairs and nothing is wrong. Then I notice D hasn't come upstairs in a bit, I get worried, and I go downstairs. The downstairs for some reason wasn't a normal downstairs, but like a den - the back part lead out through a sliding glass door to the outside, and the basement was like carved into a hillside with a porch over where the sliding glass door area was. So anyway I walk downstairs, calling for D, and I see him standing stock still, pale as a damn sheet, staring ahead of him. Then I look closer and see what he's staring at - Slendy is standing in a corner of the room, near like this dresser thing. I'm shocked and frozen for a second as he slowly turns his head to look at me. Then about twenty tendrils start snaking out of his back towards me. Then D goes like, "Shadows, run. Run now. Now! NOW!" But I can't move, I'm frozen, so then I feel him grab me and he pulls me out the sliding glass door with him and we just book it into the treeline. There's this long chase that happens, and by now it's starting to get to be night and it's foggy as Hell out. We're running, we somehow have flashlights, Slendy's after us, and at some point during that sequence I woke up. What's notable is that Slendy never did catch us in the dream, and the dream didn't exactly scare me to the point I'd call it a nightmare, but it was pretty messed up.

During a lucid dream once I somehow forgot that I was dreaming and ran into Slenderman in the forest behind my street, which is one of the reasons it now terrifies me, but he followed me back to my house and started threatening the only other person in the house - my brother's girlfriend. She didn't even realise he was there but it basically turned into a real life game of Slender through my house. I can't even remember if we got away in the end.

I suppose I'm extremely fortunate I've only ever had one dream with Tall and Creepy in it, although I did have one last night where I was waiting for the updates to that Slender ripoff game Slenderman's Shadow to be released, it was released, and it cost $59. Dream!Me was not happy.

Yeah I don't understand why either. >.> Why can't my brain have dreams about Slendy like standing in the corner of my room or trying to strangle me with his tendrils like every other normal Slenderfan?

I just had the first dream I've ever had about Slender Man, that I recall at least.

It was like any other dream at first, but in one sequence I was sitting in an airplane and all of a sudden the plane acted as if it went trough an air pocket. I lean out and look towards the cockpit and see Slender Man standing there with his tendrils around the co-pilots neck, snapping it. I am already scared shitless and then he slowly turns his head towards me, which it has more facial features than normally, and then he starts to smile. It was a really weird smile, like he was saying "You're next".

The last thing about the dream that I remember is that he opened his eyes. They were black, and when I saw them I was so scared that I woke up. I think I got scared because the Slendy I know don't have eyes, nor the capability to smile.

I couldn't move when I woke up. I just lay there for an hour, felt like an hour anyway, until the alarm sounded. Didn't move at all, except for my breathing, didn't even open my eyes.
I was so scared when I woke up because it had felt like he was communicating with me through the dream, no I don't believe he is real, and saying that he's watching me since he opened his non existent eyes.


The whole thing just feels disturbing..

This isn't really a dream, but it's hallucinatory in a way and has to do with sleep, so I guess it counts.

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning (if I'm waking up without an alarm clock), I'll be unable to really think at all. I'm just not fully there, it's like my brain's still booting into reality mode. I can't move, either - it's not that I physically couldn't, it's more like even if I want to, my body just doesn't have any desire to do so and will sit there doing nothing for about five minutes. Then I usually get all the way woken up and carry on with my day. I guess it's sleep paralysis; that's the only explanation I have.

Well thing is, on occasion, I wake up with it and start feeling paranoid, as if I'm being watched. It's like I can feel someone else in the room with me, and it freaks me out and my brain's not awake enough to realize there's nothing wrong yet. And sometimes, I'll still be sort-of-dreaming during it and not realize it until I wake up.

So now, imagine what my brain automatically thinks when I wake up facing the wall, am unable to move, and think there's something in the room with me. And then my bedroom door starts to creak open, and I see a shadow on the wall from the light shining through the door that looks vaguely like Slenderman sneaking into my damn room.

I was not happy when I finally woke up and realized it was my grandmother waking me up to say the damn roads were slippery. Which I already knew, since it was freaking raining that day.

My brain is a douchebag sometimes.

Well, I kind of had a dream indirectly related to Slender Man. I was imagining my Absol (from one of my Pokémon games) and I enjoying a nice view and then somehow encountering Slender Man before I went to sleep, so a little of it got into my dream. Sadly, it was just me enjoying the aforementioned view with my Absol, and Slender Man wasn't involved. Closest I've ever gotten to having a dream about Slendy.

After reading all the dreams encounters here, it seems that I have a weird mind.

Okay, this is how it goes, I was cleaning my house when a ghost popped up and I was slightly scared so I took a box from the floor(like I said, I was cleaning) and quickly whacked the ghost into the box and shut the lid. After that everything turned black and I woke up.

Here's the strange bit,

A few years later, I had a "sequel" to my earlier dream. Again I was cleaning my house when my mom found this old, dusty box(What box could it be ?) at the bottom of the basement. Just as she opened the box I remembered the ghost and shouted at her to not open the box, but it was too late . I got possessed and suddenly exploded. The End
